So there is a thing that causes the bullet to be inaccurate as it goes farther. It's called bullet drop. Aim a bit higher to compensate

This^ You can also unlock a skill/abillity? Idk what it's called. To zero in on the animal you're hunting. Say you're 300 m away, you can zero the scope in to 300m and it'll be more accurate for 300m

For testing, Hirshfelden is probably easiest because there are so many Fallow and Roe feed zones around the fields and sometimes you'll pull in some Red deer.

Emerald Coast is another good candidate as there are multiple deer species whose feed zones intersect as well.

Idk much about moose besides don’t shoot the female or the zone splits which is bad and keep atleast 2 alive at each zone so if you have a female and 2 male zone shoot only 1 male

If you kill an animal, it's always in your best interest to harvest it

Even if it's not a vital organ shot

Always make sure that you're using the right caliber of ammo before you shoot an animal. It'll help with ratings and money earned

For instance, Red Deer are Class 6. If your ammo covers class 6 animals, which you can check in the weapons cache and your storage, then you can use it.

The 7 can take down anything. You'll obliterate anything under Class 4, so keep the 243 for small game, and the shotgun can be used with some birdshot for your birds and other Class 1 animals like rabbits

Well, animals congregate in need zones. They have specific times and purposes. Usually, eating, drinking, and resting. Killing off all of the animals in the zone will destroy it, and the animals won't come there anymore.

What has basically happened is that I lost track of a diamond moose yesterday (271-325) while tracking it. I need to refind him. And yes, I didn't find his need zones or anything like that. I randomly spotted him when I was hunting black bears

Once you find his drinking zone, make sure you have a gun that can use Class 8 ammo, and aim directly behind the front shoulder for a lung shot. And enjoy your diamond.
