The bloodhound tracking bug is one they know and have on their list. As well as a few missions that are bugged. You can workaround the bloodhound one by following the trail yourself for a while and attempting to retrack with the dog from a heel. Eventually they'll pick it back up.

For the record, it's far more useful to developers to provide informative/descriptive reports of issues - if they haven't already been reported - instead of tossing a fit and saying things like they should be sued. That's just... not a good mindset to have

alright look, i looked at everything, i get the concerns, but to put you in my shoes, since the game feeders were announced i was looking into all of the ways i can utilize them, because they looked like so much fun, and they are! they have been very useful at launch, so can you imagine how it feels when some person you don't know suddenly starts telling you that there is a problem that can affect your own pc in the long run, being a big potential detriment from this thing you were so excited to utilize over the past month? And you're so tired you're about ready for bed in a few seconds? can you understand why i was so unbelievably pissy now? that’s an average kill count for a g1 grind, well for most species, it’s all luck wether it happens sooner or later

my longest grind was fallow at 3.2k and my shortest was also fallow at 7 kills

although 7 is very lucky, my boy bigwonder has like 30+ g1s and hasn’t had a grind under 100 kills, so it just depends how lucky you get.

also, longest grind i’ve heard of was 27k for whitetail…

Biggest tip I can personally give is range, the starter rifle has a maximum effective range of 250m, anything after it looses power

Pay attention to your bottom right UI. The green cone highlights wind direction (you never want the animal to be within that cone). Then there's the eyeball icon for how visible you are and the sound bar to show how much sound you're making

You have to shoot and harvest it in the area, and iirc you also need to be standing in it yourself

you should get to level sixty and look up the best skill/perks tree for grinding but red deer or fallow on te awaroa are a very good choice
