yeah, I think it’s dumb. It makes grinding and going to lake so much harder than it has to be. I liked when you were able to put a tent on his own that would just not let it spawn until you were away from the tent.

now it makes grinding mule deer on a ski Ridge and Blackburn on any map so much harder

and there are some lakes where you can’t even hunt them because here isn’t enough meters to even see them without spooking them

Yes, you just have to kill the biggest males. Over time, when you leave the game, the animals respawn. At a certain point, it will be a Gold, Diamond, etc.
That's why it's simpler to find their need zones and hunt from there—it's just like in nature.

Make sure to move slow - use crouch and/or prone - and always position yourself downwind even with the spray (ex: don't let what your hunting be in the green on your compass). Brush will help hide you but it also makes noise as you go through it

Oh, I never noticed that. I just noticed that there was like that sound bar and there was that little like oval half circle and when you’re prone, it just makes a line is that it?

The oval half circle is your visibility. If it's a flat line you're more or less invisible. The sound bar goes up to 6 total. Empty is just the grey dots, then 1-3 are white bars, followed by 4-6 as red bars. The red is pretty easily heard by most species within a 200m range in my experience.

If what your hunting gives a warning sound, stop moving for a couple seconds and then move slower in that direction as they are paying close attention

when i first started playing, i started getting loads of high level deer after joining a modded map and i thought teh mod affected my spawns (this was before i realized that whenever you rejoin your map, your animals are always the same) so i deleted and reloaded my map file and it reset all my populations, zones and hunting pressure back
