even older ones, especially in spain and southern france, often lack a mane

and realistically almost all of our red deer maps are summertime when theyd have their summer coats on and not have a thick mane

tree stands you can only place on a very small fraction of the trees in game, some maps are really bad and don’t really have any spots, the ground blinds and tripods are much more reliable unless the grass is too tall or the ground is sloped

tripods are amazing!!! they reduce visibility and take hunting pressure down, to the point you can get 15 kills in and the 16th will push you into a deadzone, as opposed to the 3 usual!

well, 4 for a deadzone but 3 kills without going into it

placing it, entering will spook animals close by though, so its best to place them overlooking an area from a distance unless you want to sit still for an hour waiting for things to come by lol
