I do recommend herd management and stacking max level animals. It works. It eventually narrows down your zones with shooters. When you have just a few shooters and the rest are max levels or small 2s and 1s, it's a sure sign that Great One is right around the corner.

From a successful Kickstarter to the original team abandoning it all the way to it being purchased by its current developer to just clean it up and finish it since it was a loss. You’re likely gonna have to move bears up to your lakes though anyway

One good Strat is to kind of pack a bunch of lower bears in the lakes nearby to your mains, so the respawns off ur mains are (theoretically) less likely to jump back out there
