The thing is you referenced terraria and minecraft. They are both survival games that have gear progression towards being able to survive better.

This game is a hunting game the progression is based around your ability to hunt better. Being punished for the “knocked out” mechanic doesn’t fit in a game like this.

If you can provide another hunting game that punishes the player for being knocked out and the reasoning behind it then I might be more inclined to have a discussion about it.

The thing with swapping bears is that they don't swap positions, the female in your main zone gets swapped with a male, but the male doesn't always respawn in the exact same spot

He'd probably respawn in another main zone
