@sacred latch its the way that te ammunition is designed. Id say its around 80% of lever guns are flat nose like 44 in game. So as they are flying tgroigh the air they have more air resistance than lets say a 30-06. Which typically have a sharper point which then leads to less are resistance. It may sound odd. But typically when hunting with most lever actions theyre kinda considered bush guns for that reason. You dont really need that distance in dense vegitation
