Here’s the current situation, since i’ve done some research: All 4-8 and 4-9 and 5-9 rifles all struggle with big game such as moose, elk and grizzly bears (may be more i’m still researching). As far as i know idk when this happened, i remember these rifles were somewhat efficient before, nowadays i only get low bleeds, with a very well places shot you could get medium with soft points, that’s the best you get, since brain shots destroy the trophy and most of them lack the ability to penetrate to the heart nowadays. Like what happened EW? What kinda change is that?
