At the moment it feels like the jade amulet is a must have every run as a quality of life improvement. Which really hampers the usuage of all the other amulets. I wish I could use the other ones, but they just don't feel the same without jade amulet.

I really wish that no equipment impacted EXP at all. It's not about jade amulet being better or worse than other amulets, I just don't want it to be something that can be impacted by gear at all.

Jade amulet should become new attribute called ”luck”, increased gold drops, uncommon item drops and perhaps even affects crit, block or effect chance a little (few % max)

@vale token Actually rather than this because this is fine to me. Why isn't there a Trait that affects XP gains? Everything in my old bones says this should exist but I see it NOT! If we could sacrifice damage not just for reach but also actual XP buffs this could become a viable way to sacrifice for that Golden Goose (not a real one as level 100 is worth only a pittance of gold) that makes one feel like one's character is somehow superior!

I still don't understand why Jade amulet even exist to be honest, it should be deleted and buff xp accordingly. That item is dumb and you are forced to use it on every run

It does feel like they're phasing it out and maybe shifting towards Agony levels being the primary you level faster.

good idea. +XP should be something for shrine and not a stat on gear. jade amulett right now is BiS until lvl 100 achievement with every class and then you switch to scars of toil

Completely stopped using it in beta so it seems like it’s on its way out.
I like the idea of it being changed to some sort of luck thing. In its current state it’s either better than everything else in the game because of faster leveling.. ooor.. it’s the beta version where it just has no use whatsoever

Long Fingers Gloves (can't remember the actual name) impacts experience and also interacts directly with Collar of Confidence.

My impression of Jade Amulet is that it is best in slot for non-agony runs, and equally balanced or underpowered in agony runs

Who does non-Agony runs except people not in the beta? Albeit, Quests are not suggested to be done in Agony mode... Most of us are in Agony mode religiously now that we have it. Right now the best XP gains are unused Chests and Ability Scrolls because they 'do' scale and can be used to give any missing levels to reach 100 if you plan ahead and leave them on the ground. For example, 5 levels requires 10 Chests or Ability Scrolls to be left until the end. Do this, and you WILL hit level 100 guaranteed if you only fall 5 levels short. Many might only miss it by less than 5 levels with many more missing it by just 1 level!

I think the 50XP choice on scrolls actually helps balance Jade Amulet for non-agony runs, now that I think about it. Yeah, I haven't gone back since I turned on Agony...

What if jade amulet boosted the amount of exp you gain from chests and scrolls?

Or had like a +33% chance to not consume a strong wine when rerolling

Id actually like to see Jade Amulet increase drop rates on buffs and better potions in barrels etc and you could also add that they show up on map when you have it on

I think jade amulet fills a gap for new players that don't have the achievement xp bonuses yet. It definitely doesn't seem as useful once you've completed most of them.
