#Add modding capabilities

Me, @waxen anvil, @humble chasm and a few other people have built a mod loader that is being currently used in:

  • Brotato
  • Dome Keeper
  • Endoparasitic
  • More to come
    It's fully open source, with easy setup and has steam workshop support.

I don't see a reason against Modding, but our focus lies currently elsewhere.
But great working you are doing 😄

Sounds easy, but from my experience everything is always taking more work than it sounds.
I'd would have checked on our side, but our programmers are all having holidays one by one, so it might take some time. But we also use our own forked Godot version that is based on 4.1 now.

I mean, I don't expect this to be in the next release or anything, just saying that's a possibility for modding :)

Also, once we have official modding support and any issues arise, we need to be able to support it. :3

I'm interested in having mod support for sure, no idea about the rest of the team.
I'll forward this to them ^^

But my guess is later this year if we go with it, or for the 1.0 release. ^^
