I managed to locate the part number for the rudder knob on the fuel panel. I’ve done some checking on that knob and I can get them however it is probably the most expensive knob in the pit.

In single quantity, it is $650
However, in a quantity of 10 that drops $199 plus shipping, of course in both cases

This posting is to gauge if there is anybody as crazy as me who would spend $199 on a bloody knob just so they can have a real one

So if you are interested in the $199 is something you’re willing to do just give the post a thumbs up and if you want to give her a thumbs down because you just can’t afford it not interested whatever feel free to do that as well I mainly looking for interest

If I can get 10, we can get them for $199 each. I know a few of us here who just are crazy enough to do that but I don’t know that we have 10.

would this work with OH plans? I assume this goes on the shaft and screws on just like the OH resin knob

Yes, even the FDM one works well. It’s just that looking for a real knob. As we don’t light up the top ring around the center button so that is a difference in ours. It’s not notable, but it’s just having a real knob obsession

The real one is very nice, but I don't want to spend $200 for one knob. 🙁

I'm probably getting there too. First I bought cheap AliExpress switches, then the NKK instead and just a few days ago my first switch for $70+. And I have to admit, I can feel the difference.

but still the OH design is so close, we must really thank the effort to replicate within a budget and time spent developing

Yeah, everything in OH is as close as it can get to the actual cockpit and still be reasonably economical.

@everyone, still looking for 2 more buyers of the EHC Rudder Knob, this is the OEM part for the Rudder knon as seen in the initial posting.

Order has been placed for 10 of the knobs expecting 8 to 10 weeks to get them made and then just less than a week to get them delivered to me and then I can get them out to you guys and that’s when I’ll know the shipping and taxes and all that at this point they actually didn’t charge me taxes yet which was interesting

Just wanted to give you a little update we should be hearing something sometime in May about the knobs. My contact says he was hoping for mid to late May but could be sooner.
