Then you can just hard carry people with endless deaths. with the instant revive architect you can spam them alive.

The entire point of the system is that everyone has to work together. this system is balanced. The old system you would link to that player if you revive, and if either of you die the other one dies too.

I enjoy this better.

the only thing this would do is make it more enjoyable to actually work together

What is the penalty?

Thanks for the clarification 😊 10% sounds like acceptable punishment... But if your down to 20% that's a whole other story 😅

I think the revive debuff is pretty fair (if your party is dying multiple times it kind of needs to be run-ending) but if its leading to people refusing to revive in MP then maybe something needs to be done about it

The reviver sacrifices their life force to bring back a teammate. Which cannot get it's full strength back since they also lost life force.

I liked the old system of the lives where they bind their lives together. It’s a huge punishment if you do something dumb

where glasscannons basically dont even care if they only have like 1 hp left

# neon plank its not about beeng a prick its about this system encouraging not to do it

the system needs to have players work together. Teach your friends. I have a handful in my group brand new to this style of game and die constantly. its just something you have to deal with but to constantly revive them over and over because you can for free doesnt help them understand the impact of the run, and allows you to just hard carry in every way.

#

The run ending because they made YOU sacrifice lots of your HP too, is a good way for them to understand it impacts. i had to explain to my friends that I am also losing HP, and they all understood and stayed far safer. talk to your group. its a good system.

and whats happening is that simply the good players kill everything while the bad players dont even try to do anything because them dying means less health for there group

#

It also disproportionally punishes specific classes that rely on high hp like warlock or most melee classes

#

while beeng a glass canon barely does anything

#

the best thing you can do is get yourselfe a long range glass canon spec everything in damage or mana relevant things delete everything from a distance

#

if you die a friend revives you

#

you are oneshot anyways so it doesnt even matter to you

Probably just add an architect option that allows it to turn off for the bad players that struggle with the mechanic
