Flight Sticks detected as controllers, causing input issues

I recently made a post on the Steam forums already but I'd like to make sure this gets logged as an issue anyway as it may affect others in the future.

I have 2 Virpil Constellation Alpha sticks plugged into my computer and the game is detecting them and seemingly assigning them as controllers, however, these sticks have levers that the game detects as constant inputs for example constantly scrolling up in the settings menu.

Is there a way to disable controllers for me locally or will I be unable to play this game without disconnecting my sticks from my PC each time?

I'm facing this issue too. I've got a lot of controllers connected to my rig (racing wheel, pedals and a flight stick). The game always tries to use the input of one of those

I've found a workaround... But i'm not sure if this will cause any issue while playing online due to modified files or if when a patch rolls out I may need to edit the files again. But have a look a those controls files, they have the mapping of all your input devices, I've simple removed all lines that are not related to mey Keyboard and Mouse (first section) and it's working just fine now.
