Probably spend more time time looking for a server than i do playing the game, most servers are so far ahead that fullings fck you up in meadows and playing in local host is a hit and miss since IRL priorities is more important and if the host stops playing then the run is over, sorry for the paragraph, just want to play long term with a group who don't want to rush through all the bosses, pushing to elder is okay for the iron for building IMO and don't mind mods either

I've got a pretty modded server, there's just two of us right now. We've killed Eikthyr out took nearly 40 in game days, with longer days. Its no map/no portal, seasons, harder combat, etc. My server is in Chicago but one US player and one eastern EU. I've got some mods that improve latency a bit. DM me if it sounds like something you'd be interested in.

Looking to take my time and focus on building and working as a team, it's demoralizing when people rush off to kill bosses like they're trying to speed run the game

as long as i'm playing it... its not dead. I'm enjoying a no portal server at the moment we've only killed the elder

i think the issue is more that it takes 1 day to get to tier 3 on average from what i saw, so yeah if you're just coasting, 3 Trolls will hit you're base in the meadow

I have a chill slow paced 9 biome server up. Started it yesterday and we haven't gotten to the first boss yet.
