Hey - I've been playing the last several weeks alternating between a solo world and a small group of (inactive) friends, and am looking for a better group experience. I have a bit of experience hosting game servers like Valheim and Minecraft in the past, and I'd like to host a larger, more engaged group to progress through the game.

I'm looking for a max of ~10 dedicated players who will be able to play consistently over at least the next few weeks, though I'm happy to leave this running as long as there is interest. I'd like to find people who are more interested in exploring and building throughout the world rather than just rushing through bosses/gear; however anyone who can respect other players is welcome.

It will be a dedicated server hosted in NA, starting at 8GB RAM. I expect that to be plenty but if we need to expand, I don't mind doing so. I'd like it to be accessible to vanilla players, however QoL mods that do not add new content, do not give unfair advantages, and do not hurt anyone else's experience are fine. I can share the list I use for this (examples include things like plant everything, better archery, instant drops). I'd likely go with default settings + 1.5x drops, however if anyone has strong feelings about this I'm open to suggestions. I expect to have the server up and running tonight within the next couple hours.

I'm EU but a jobless bum, so have plenty of free time to even play with NA people, if your still looking for more. I like playing with fresh players and going at it easy and slow, have some 3k ish hours in the game. I am more of a builder and explorer, I do like constructing bases designed for multiple people.

Oh certainly a community base builder player, if I wanted to play solo I would just play Solo ^^
But not everyone is that type of player, if your a community base player type, you need to have in mind that not all resources are there just for you, you need to know how much is stocked for others to use to, way to many people are not used to that and just end up looking selfish when they use up that last stack of metal to upgrade their item and then no one has any left to even build a ship.

Yep I have ~4k hours played on valheim so def know how to be a team player. Its more fun that way anyways. Since I'm in US, we'd need to test if connection is doable when both at base/area. i've played with europeans who caused no lag and others where the chests/doors wouldnt open until they left the area. So only way to find out is to test it 🙂

I don't think we have so many players that resources will feel limited (its a big world) but im willing to be flexible if there are frustrations in the future, for example if we need to reset dungeons or have alternate methods for stuff like tar. But thats a long ways out

1.5x resources, low raids, otherwise vanilla. Client side QoL mods are allowed. Cheat mods / cheated items are bannable.

We have ~5-6 (very) active players. Mostly everyone has killed elder, and we are planning on killing bonemass next weekend.
