#Looking for a Viking Roleplaying server

Great! Hopefully we can get a handful of others and then start planning how to move forward. Whether that's joining a server or starting a new one.
Hi! So, I may have what you’re looking for. I’m on Xbox, not tech savvy so unsure if that matters or if you’re also on Xbox… anyways…
A little about me. I’m in my 40’s, long time D&D player, creative writer.
I just started the game and I’m hooked. I decided to rent a dedicated server - and it’s myself and a buddy playing. He’s not as much into the RP but he loves Drizzt Do'urden from the D&D books, so he named his character that — and so I made Jon Snow as my character.
I only mention this as I know it can be immersion breaking.
Anyways, my hope for this server long term is to be an RP server without the RP rules.
I’d like it to be collective storytelling — and what I mean by that is:
-
creative cool landmarks with “lore” feeding names, e.g we created a little dock on an island called “Last Hope’s Landing” and it was titled this after our numerous deaths on a raft trying to explore.
-
working as a community but also autonomously to build and cultivate the world
-
slow progression (we’ve only defeated the first boss and are just now getting comfortable exploring the dark forest).
-
no stealing and griefing/breaking others base
-
RP
This is a vanilla server, and I didn’t figure out (or even know if I can make adjustments to portals etc…) so it’s basically the game out of the box.
So if you’re interested would love to connect.
Thing is, I’m in Europe. I don’t know how bad it is for performance but it might be an issue
No worries, and ya, happy to connect as friends. DM me
Hey all, I'm interested in helping with a vanilla server. I'm keen on all the funky umlaut names like... Yöhan or what not! I enjoy building , foraging, shanking things in the bush, etc. Oh and fishing is fun. Feel free to holler at me if you'd like another to come join and play!
