very much - i have been playing hardcore and it got me excited again in the game
it all makes so much more sense on hardcore - you really do need to collect and save every resource you come by. combat is challenging, survival is fun

oh no, im more on the lets finish the game and see the crazy builds we can do, not necessarily hardcore gaming

that is a very fun part of the game, i have probably worn myself out on building but i do like to see what others can do. that is big part of the social side of it - everyone gets to focus on what they like and it all helps the group
