Spawn island meadow is pretty big and there are already FOUR abandoned villages I intend to connect via a dirt path 👍

We're exploring the swamps now & heading into iron age soon. If you'd like to bring a progressed character from bronze age or previous, this is fine too!
Some facilities need constructing; plenty available for community builders.
Searching for Haldor beginning as soon as we get enough iron for a boat. So we're in need of sailors and explorers 🙂

👍 Post hast been updated to reflect new changes to the modpack, most importantly now that we don't have ValheimPlus, we've added Jewelcrafting, Professions and QoL standalones.

2nd Era is about to begin! Test world is up for you to try out the mods, FRESH start Tuesday morning (1-17-23) or as soon as we recruit 2 or 3 more! We have players who invite their friends/spouses so player limit was increased and we're looking for more duos, adventurers, and especially builders to help grow the community. Looking forward to meeting you ✌️😄

With mod managers, you switch profiles to join a different server. You wouldnt have any trouble with our server because you would not be using the same mods as your other server

Update; it's day two and we've already found Haldor!! coin_32 Not too far from spawn 😆
We've scouted the main continent... honestly stunned at how massive it is, about 4300 radius! Excited to see all five biomes on spawn island too, maybe we'll connect them by road one day for horse and cart travel 🤔

Tomorrow (Friday) we're going to start work on the Spawn tavern so if you're into community building, the timing is perfect 👍

Getting ready for another building event this weekend!
NEW NPCs have been added to the server and they need homes.🛖
Some Marketplace & NPCs features we're trying out:
• Starter Quests 📜 - to set you up with basics but also rarities like a bee or surtling cores.
• Marketplace 🪙 - will have various merchants such as a potion seller who will sell potions to you once you complete his quest line
• Starter Village 🏘️ - quest board, simple merchants, bank, tavern & casino, and extra facilities you can use to get settled in faster

We need builders who want to participate in themed builds with many new build piece mods! I am also interested in players who enjoy giving feedback on content they would like to see such as quests or events!

📰 Big update since my last post as we have prioritized world building & scripting quests over recruiting recently, but we are still open to 1-2 more players joining. If you are looking for a server that will include you in the world creation 🌐 or at least value your input, come join us!

🧮 What we have accomplished in less than two weeks:
∙ Spawn temple - providing an easier start on a harder difficulty server, altar provides buffs for easier catch-up mechanics
∙ Marketplace - fully functioning with multiple vendors, bank, and market
∙ Casino - set up for beginning players in the meadows, fully functioning and complete with many NPCs and quest lines
∙ Construction of over half a dozen protected locations/villages which include NPCs, quests, bounties, and more
∙ Functioning starter town for new players with dozens of repeatable bounties
∙ A more progressed village for veterans

Still more to come and as always, we encourage participation from the community in almost all projects. Either post here tag @gleaming cosmos or @calm valve or just DM me to get started! ✌️

Hey, @open cape. Good question, it varies based on the group's interest and energy but there's a minimum of three months for me and a max of six if we go reeeaaaally slow. How long do you usually like to play?

Edited to add this is not our typical play through because we are spending a lot more time playing with Marketplace and NPCs and adding a more rpg feel to the game.
The server is actually being designed for extended play and a long uptime with some features like resetting dungeons and also manually refreshing some areas.
