It's hidden because it's deprecated, turn on filtering to display those and you can see it again. We recommend switching to another inventory mod. Azumatt's will automatically drop your old items if you install it (and remove eaqs)

It's funny that "yellow" is rare item whereas "green" is legendary item but you'll get over it soon.
Yes, I got used to playing before, I just hoped that the epic loot was updated and the colors of the materials changed as in the screenshot I posted above
Rarity colour isn't my main concern of that mod, it's the legendary/mythic rarity that have so long stats that they start to glitch everytime, I try to read them.

Okay, I guess idk what I am doing... So I have a val dedicated server running on the steam tool, on a Win11 extra PC, it is only running the server, I used R2modman to install the mods, but idk what I did wrong? I get these errors when trying to play on the server with all the same mods

So I seem to be having a strange issue with my asksvin. And I think my lox, too. They're tamed and breeding endlessly, ignoring the usual cap. I've slaughtered 20 asksvin and removed their food because they wouldn't stop breeding. It might be a mod issue. But I didn't think the mods I'm using would affect that. Using r2modman. This appears to be the wrong channel for that question. #valheim-help may be the better area to ask...unless the cow was modded in. If it looks like a giant, brown-furred lizard, that's a lox. They eat Cloudberries, Barley, and Flax.
do you understand that the 'cap' is based on their proximity to one another? and isnt a simple numerical limit.

It gets to be an issue when they're clogging up the area and producing entirely too much loot. I've taken to using the Obliterator on the extra garbage due to already having all of the gear. Mostly just needed the asksvin tails and lox heads, really.
I don’t know if anyone has reported this before but Every boat I build breaks up in the water. No matter what the depth is. Does anyone know a solution for this or am I stuck in the Black Forest for eternity?
Are you building 'vanilla' boats or are you using a mod to create the boats?

im having an issue where i cannot place the eikthyr trophy on its hook. i have a trophy its in my inventory, (yes i am looking at the hook when i try and interact with it) but it still won't place

Start your game unmodded and see if you can mount it that way. If you have extra rows of inventory, do that with those rows empty.

hi there, my friend and i are having problems with target portal by smoothbrain. I am the host of the game. The problem we are having is when i put down a portal my friend can only access it if he goes through the portal. Say he died and i put down a portal down. It doesnt show up for him on the map to go through so he has to boat all the way over to his stuff and then go through the portal. Ive set everything to public in the config. I tried reinstalling it and have had no luck
Has your friend installed it ok on his game? If so, both of you can check your game logs to see if there are any error msgs in there the might apply to portal configuration. If he does have the mod ok, make sure he's got the configs set up correctly, too.
yeah its installed on his game fine. no red in the logs when the game loads. its just he cant go through the portal when i place it down. he has to go through it first.
since im the host the config should take for both of us right
Some mods default to enforcing server configs and others don't. You can check your configs to see if there's a server sync option in your configs that needs to be set to "true". If it already is, you can send him a copy of your .cfg file for the mod and he can paste that in his BepInEx > config folder over the one he has in there. Just in case...
Also, does TargetPortal have a 'group' option that you both need to be in or is 'public' enough? I dunno about that...

I guess you could make him an Admin, too. Although you really shouldn't have to do that. But I'm out of ideas, otherwise.

Put his Steam64 ID in your adminlist.txt file that's next to your worlds_local folder in the same directory. It's the ID with 17 numeric chars in it.
You can get it from the F2 info window when you're both on the server.
If you do that though, make sure you have good world backups in case he accidently does something crazy with all that power.

So out of box you can set a portal to private or public and if you have the group mod then groups.
Are you making sure that the portal itself is public, even if it says so in the settings?

yes i have it all set to public , when hit f5 to bring up the mod menu i make sure its all set to public on the mod menu. awhile back when i was playing with this mod before all of this was added there was never an issue. i took a break from the game came back to it not working now

so unfortunately putting my friend as an admin in my game and making sure that he has the same settings in the mod menu for target portal. im still not having any luck. i moved far enough away in the game and put down a portal and he still couldnt go though it. im not sure what to do at this point

Calm as well… no mods and yes it has done this since the first raft and then again with the Karve. Also, my wife who has her own private server has the same issue when she builds any boat.
That doesn't seem like normal vanilla activity. Probably one or another of your mods is causing it.
If you equip your hammer while on the boat, you can see if the boat is losing health gradually or just suddenly all at once. But either way that's not normal for boats in calm waters that are not running into rocks or being damaged by a mob or something else that would be obvious.
You can verify whether is a mod problem or not by doing a test run in vanilla game mode. Hopefully, that'll prove it's a mod problem and you can find and fix the mod by trouble shooting the mods.
I wish I had a good solution for you but I don't. So, yeah, look at some other portal mods, too. Also, while you over at thunderstore.io in search mode, check out some of the 'tombstone' mods and see if any of those are interesting. I wouldn't assume that's coming from a mod. Try a test run with no mods. But first remove any items in your extended inventory rows so that you don't lose them without the extended inventory mod.
Fishing has always works and worked before with most of these mods, are you saying fishing in base game with no mods can be broken in random seeds?

A better question you should be asking is why do so many knowledgeable and experienced people in here recommend that you don't use Valheim+.
If I had a choice, I wouldn’t be, trust. Unfortunately we’re using Nitrado to host our Xbox server, trying to implement the ServersideQOL mod, but Nitrado requires you to download V+ as an addon for BepIn to function. Uninstall V+ and BepIn stops working. Have V+ installed, and the server is incompatible with Xbox version
Yeah, you probably should have mentioned that it's a Nitrado server in the first place. So, you've already asked them and they won't help you? Even though you're paying them for their support? Terrific.

As far as I can tell, your options are either get them to help you install the server QOL mod without Valheim+, or hope that someone in here with experience with Nitrado knows how you can get it to work yourself.
Other than that you'd need to move the server to some other place to make it work like maybe a different hosting Co. or someone's old PC that could support it.
Don't wait on Nitrado support, they are among the worst support there is, most of the time their solution for everything is press the "reset server button" or they tell you to visit their forum and ask their community for help.
ValheimPlus is required by both the server and clients, it's not a "serversideqol".

The 'friend with an old PC' option is looking better and better all the time...
It’s been such a battle. I gave up for a week or so before coming back to it. So basically, so far:
- Nitrado will not let you install BepInEx manually. Rather, you can install it, but it won’t do anything
- Nitrado requires you install V+ bundled with BepIn through their add-on menu for BepIn to actually work properly
- V+ is incompatible with the current Xbox version
- You CAN uninstall V+, and it technically WILL keep BepIn installed along with any other plugins, but they will stop functioning
In the case of Argus’ mod, I got to step 4, having uninstalled V+, but enabled QOL mod’s in-game config room before uninstalling V+. Logged onto server, saw that the portal was at spawn, happy happy happy! Played with signs, but nothing changed. Gave up.
Came back today, re-installed everything, edited all the QOL configs directly, uninstalled V+, booted game up. Now in-game, the config room exists, and we can see the settings that I directly messed with have changed (signs are green/true from where I changed them in the .cfg file) BUT, the settings aren’t actually applied to the world as a whole. Mist still exists in mistland, fireplaces are not toggleable, etc.
BepIn’s log stops updating as soon as V+ is uninstalled, which is what makes me believe that for whatever reason, Nitrado makes V+ essential to run mods on their servers. Tried disabling it from V+’s .cfg file, but that didn’t work either.
Sorry for the long post, kind of just ranting at this point. Ultimately I think it’s straight up Nitrado’s fault for being stupid and difficult. I wish I had an old computer to run our own server, but no luck, just a couple of console fellas

basically you install V+ just like they tell you, then drop that in patchers and it kills V+ from loading.
Install on your server by placing the DLL file into BepInEx/patchers (not plugins)

guys i have a question. So i made a modpack of around a 100 mods a couple of months back it worked all fine on single player (still does), but me and 2 buddies are trying to play it on multiplayer and it crashes out the people joining at always the last second, could the problem be that we arent using a bought server and the host rig is just getting overloaded?

Not likely. More that one or more of the 100 mods, requires to be run/have spesific config on all clients. Are the world shared from a client, or on a dedicated private server?
Its shared from a client and i did some modifications in the config of the mods but that carries over on thundetstore after i share it no?
I don't use Thunderstore mod manager, so I wouldn't know how that works. Maybe others here can assist you with that. But it's good to know that it's a client world that's shared.
What does your Playerlog say when they can't connect?
Im not completely sure i didnt check the playerlog but the mod that usually tells data just doesnt say anything

Promoting Thunderstore and your preferred mod managers are just fine. Lying and trashing other's work, are not cool, in my opinion.
Valheim mods exist on Nexus, and that's ok. Clearly Thunderstore are carrying the load of the community, since a bunch of mod authors exoduses from Nexus a few years back (understandably so, due to changes in ToS of Nexus).
Dll-files uploaded to Nexus and Thunderstore are identical, so mods can very much be used in both sides managers. (If the mod are updated to work with latest release of Valheim). At least Nexus has a comment section that users and authors can communicate regarding the mod.
Using Vortex isn't for everyone, that is clear. For people that is new to modding Valheim, and have issues that can relate to use of Vortex (and don't know how to use Vortex), moving on to some other manager is very much recommended.
As I see it; If Valheim players have issues with using a mod, or modding in general, and using Vortex, you can simply say "I don't use that manager, so I can't help you. I use r2 and Thunderstore, so I can help you with that".
When was the last time any of you mod authors that exoduses, tested and used Vortex? How many updates to Vortex and the Valheim extension has it been since that time? What extension for Valheim have you tested?
The problem that I mostly run into isn't so much that vortex doesn't work, but that it takes quite a bit more effort for it's users to get it working without problems.
Out the box vortex would install mods directly into the game's folder, this is a terrible idea as any time the game would update everything needed deleted and reinstalled - game, mods, sanity..
Vortex can be set to install mods to a different location, but without the user knowing to do it first they run into the above problem.
Vortex pulls bepinex from the offsite sources, the version of bepinex that is updated for valheim is only uploaded to thunderstore, so vortex pulls it from from who knows where..
Dead mods, many authors just abandon nexus, there maybe 4-5 that upload there, but all authors use thunderstore. So for users, they find themselves having to manually add all their mods from thunderstore into vortex other than the 2-3 they may get from nexus that are also on tstore.
I don't hate vortex by any means, I just feel that it puts a lot more work on people who support mods than is needed.
Good to hear. And I agree with you; If users don't know how to use Vortex, their're at an disadvantage by sticking to Vortex. And might have a better experience with other mod managers.
But if you do know how to handle Vortex, are willing to put in the extra leg work to make it work and prefer not to install yet another game specific mod manager, I think users can choose for them self. But that doesn't mean that authors should support that manager. If a users choose to use Vortex, they might not get help from mod authors. I accept that risk. If others doesn't, they can change over to other managers/do it manually. In my opinion, an author isn't obligated to support everything under the sun.

Hey, not sure if this is the right channel, but anyone know why my game uses so much more memory than my friends? They use about 4,5gb of RAM playing some modpack but when I try to use the same one it goes up to 9gb and then crashes cause I run out of memory...
This is during startup btw, I don't actually get into the game
First time you load a modded run, it'll take a while, the program stops responding but if you let it work it'll eventually load and every other time after that will be faster.
Program always stops responding for a little while when I launch modded valheim from r2. Don't close the app, let it think and it'll eventually work

No, but I dont recommend ever using steam cloud saves for anything. Turn off cloud saves for Valheim and possibly in general for your entire steam library.

Thanks! Yeah, looks like thunderstore app is versioning them, which honestly seems like a good practice but breaks where the mod looks for its textures by default. You can either set the real path in the configuration like it says in the log message or rename the folder to drop the version at the end.

Well, whichever mod is throwing the shader compiler error, if you are running their latest version, it's unfortunately not going to be fully functional for you. You'll want to contact the author to ask them to include Apple Metal compilation.
It was likely the mod author last compiled the assets on an older version of Unity Editor. I think Metal is enabled by default on newer versions.

Yep, mods are made by members of the community though, and usually for free, and when they have time to work on them. The mod author may not even have known they needed a new build to support macOS, or stopped playing the game themselves before macOS support came out. You will probably want to pinpoint which mod it is and let the author know. If they've open-sourced it you might be able to build it yourself with an appropriate msbuild+CLI toolchain and an appropriate Unity Editor version.
Each time a mod author starts a new project they need to manually change the platforms and rendering APIs their project builds for. It's often overlooked.

You need to contact the author and ask him to add Mac support.
Process of elimination, mostly, but if you look through the sub-folders of ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Valheim/BepInEx/plugins you can likely exclude ones that only have a .dll file, readme, and json. Shader assets will usually use other file extensions if I recall.
If the message ends with "in shader …" and the shader name is relevant to one of the mods, that'll be a good hint.
For this one, I'm not sure. Do you have anything in ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Valheim/BepInEx/patchers?

You might consider copying or moving the HookGenPatcher dir from the plugins dir to patchers and see if that helps with the MMHOOK error. I don't know the Thunderstore app well enough to know how to play nicely with it
You are running a hefty list of plugins. I would be surprised to find they all work in latest Valheim in Windows even. Hopefully these get you further along though

Hello all, I'm new to server hosting and am trying to set up some automation for a modded dedicated server using an extra pc at home. Modpack is up and running on the server. Currently using Thunderstore to launch Valheim Dedicated Server steam tool with all mods and server side configs. I am able to connect and play it from a client on another machine. My current issue is trying to find a way to set up a daily restart. The only script info I can find for a windows system would taskkill and reboot the vanilla steam tool server, not with all mods/configs from Thunderstore as I understand it. If anyone has a recommendation on how to set this up it would be appreciated, bonus points for any program/script that will save backups of the world. Surfing the web I only find info on doing this for unmodded headless dedicated servers or paid 3rd party server hosts that have these features built into their GUI's.

If you have some patience to try some other things… I just don't know if BepInEx will do the patcher thing with that plugins dir layout. Inside of the ValheimModding-HookGenPatcher-0.0.4 dir, there is a patchers dir, and you could copy the contents of that into ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Valheim/BepInEx/patchers, slightly different than what you tried before and you would copy the contents of ValheimModding-HookGenPatcher-0.0.4/config into ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Valheim/BepInEx/config. I'm just shooting in the dark here.
Basically ValheimModding-HookGenPatcher is what should be generating the MMHOOK thing that PlanBuild looks for.

oddly enough it auto regenerated the folder when i launched the game with the modpack
when i went back the folder was magically there again so i had a copy of the same folder in both patchers and plugins

hey all, I'm sure this has been asked before. I took a break from playing valheim, and now r2modman will not launch my modded valheim. It runs just fine if I launch vanilla from steam. Any recommendations? Should I uninstall r2modman and start over?
You need to verify that your mods are updated to work with BogWitch update.

I guess you created a new world? If you look at the BepInEx console you'll see the engine is still generating the world. Remember that you can "pause" the engine, by pressing space in this window, so keep that in mind 🙂

No. But only the client using the mod, will see the changes the mod brings to the game.

99% of all Valheim mods are client side. One of the few advanteges to have a mod on Server, is that some mods (when on server) forces the same config and clients without the mod, aren't able to join the server
ServerSideQoL are one of the few Server Side only mods, that will also allow xbox users to join the server, and have benefits of the changes SSQoL brings

I can't seem to find the config option in Valheim Plus to make monsters instantly despawn after death (rather than the few seconds waiting for a 'poof')... am I thinking of a different mod that allows this or am I just blind?

4 updates since BogWitch, so you might benefit going over your mods and check.
It would be a mod issue, and one of them erroring. View your BepInEx/LogOutput.log file for more information. Or have it happen again and view the BepInEx console window that launches next to the game.

The Fallback handler msgs. are not generally significant and are pretty normal. You'll likely need to look elsewhere for the reason your server isn't starting up.
For instance, look further down in the log file for msgs not included above and marked Error and are not about 'shader' issues. The shader msgs are normal as well.
Provide more information about your server here. Is it on a separate PC at your home or rented from a hosting Co. If at home, it appears to be running on Linux, is that correct? And how do you know that the server isn't actually starting up?
You can try starting the server without mods and see if that's the problem, too.

My mods arent working. I use Thunderstore and they have been working but when I logged on today my hammer for mods arent working, my dirtyhoe mod isnt working, and my stacksize mod isnt workin. they all run through Jotunn so can anyone help?? This all happened after I updated one mod (OdinsArchitech) I can VC and screen share, DM, or just reply here.

For me, the problem was FPSPlus — it freezes during world creation, but after the world is created, you can enable it without any issues.

The game has not been updated. Valheim regularly download shader-files.
There may be info in your player log as to what version it's referring to.
You need ServerDevCommands installed on clients to be able for clients visting others worlds / servers, using devcommands. For some of the commands, the ServerDevCommands needs to be installed on the host/server as well.
Is that a mod, or do they just need to enable dev commands through steam and then I give permission on the server side?
It's a mod on Thunderstore and Nexus. And yes, host must allow admin access in the Allowlist.txt

If your goal is to make it easy for folks to build stuff, you could also consider the Hammer gameplay preset, which can be used without mods. It effectively sets NoBuildCost, PassiveMobs, and EventRate 0. It does not enable any kind of flying though, and will disable resource drops from downed enemies or hammer deconstructions.

An admin player can setworldpreset Hammer in the console without mods. Note that setting a preset will wipe any previously set preset, world modifiers, or server config global keys.
To restore normal gameplay afterwards, the admin can setworldpreset Default
This is a specific issue in Southsil armor. If you search the config very hard, you will stumble across typos. You can change the recipes that have the typos but you can't change the hard encoded typo.

I think there is a hotkey for resetting all binds but not sure if they changed that because it was problematic. Try pressing F9 in game.

No. No console can run client side mods. But if you have your world on a dedicated server, that server can run ServerSideQoL, and Xbox players can benefit from those changes.

hello, i've recently started playing Valheim again after a few years and remembered i'm in this server
is there a problem with plan build? i tried placing a cottage in my local server and basically had to delete my server because it created a huge bubble thing around the cottage and every time i'd get close to it, i ended up under water and couldn't get out of it... i thought i had updated all the mods
If im not mistaken on a dedicated server, everyone has to have the same mods as the owner in order for them to work. If you're hosting from your PC and not a dedicated server youre the only one that needs them downloaded.

No. But in my experience, Grouper are a bit far out from shore in Plains. So sailing along the shore, might give you better results.

I have a question regarding Azumatt's FirstPersonMode... I'm trying to use it on a dedicated server, and it mostly works fine, but the only issue is that the arms don't move out of the way when I aim my bow, making shooting downward almost impossible. Anyone know why this aspect of the mod seems to be broken? Do I need to have the mod installed server-side as well?

you probably just want a build cam, so your POV can move independently of your avatar... serverdevcommands lets yoou fly your avatar, but that sucks becasue its often in the way...and they need admin to do it

I use the same mod, and it works well. Just make sure you understand the config file, so you know what else the mod brings to the client running the mod. It can be a bit "cheaty" for some players 🙂
@urban beacon yeah, the default settings are really a creative mode thing, so much that they will prevent raids to some degree due ot the massive effect. Try settings more like this:
good to know because we just want to build and not be raided and such, so it's not a problem! We have 2 saves/worlds, one for building just cool stuff or trying out new parts we discover in our "real save"! Like yesterday we beat that swamp guy and now we have STONE WALLS 😍 so we wanna build in our "creative server" with stone, figure out what works and not, then after go to our real save and apply what we learn 😄

This mod only work for the client that has it loaded, but if installed on server/host it will prevent others that don't have it, to be able to join. It's all in the description page of the mod.

This is a GPU crash, or rather Desktop Window Manager that is responsible for rendering Windows Desktop and other visual things.
it's pretty much a GPU or System Out of Memory error.

Hello, im playing with a friend and we're trying to mod the game ( using ThunderStore ).
I already played with those mods like 6 months ago and all worked perfectly,
But, now, with another friend in another game, we're having an issue :
All works good for me, but when he join he can't see everything (like the cart is invisible for him), and when he use boats, it bugs it and make it unusable (we can't interract with it or destroy it anymore); some monsters may freeze like this too, making the game unplayable.
Do anyone may know where the issue come from, how to fix it ?

One thing you might consider is once you've got your new mod profile setup and tested- you can actually share all of the mods/configs easily using the export profile as code, your friends would then just need to import the profile and they will have all of the same mods/configs, which can help reduce issues where something doesn't work for everyone.
settings -> export profile as code (copy)
your friends then hit new profile (from code) and paste in the code

hey im trying to host a server with the steam tool but the moment i add the mods it doesnt generate the world files. it works in singleplayer using r2modman but when i add it to the plugins folders in the dedicated server it doesnt work at all. i understand there might be issues with the mods running in a no gui environment but it works perfectly in singleplayer so maybe theres something i can do without removing all the important mods (besides hosting it in game obviously)
@shadow surge maybe try generate the world in a local gui session and then copy the map files to the server

thx for the reply. i tried that too at some point but it still said the world gen queue was null (it said something like that) which crashed even though i alr had it generated. i got it working now by removing epicjewelry which is an addon to the jewel crafting mod that seems to work in client but not on the server. i mean its not that bad everything else seems to work even the base jewelry mod so ill just leave it like that

Modded Valheim did work, regardless of the error msg generated from this VortexWorld.dll. It's just telling you that that specific dll wouldn't load properly. Edit the extension plugin in Vortex, removes the msg.
So this is my friend and i's first time modding Valheim and we've run into a problem: While the mods work perfectly fine in singleplayer for both of us, neither of us can connect if we try to play multiplayer. Crossplay has been disabled, we just get the "failed to connect" error before the password screen, while we can connect just fine through vanilla.

I am trying to set up a server with mods for me and my children to play. I set up the server and my own account with r2modman. It all works. I can start the server, join the server, mods work.
My kids have steam decks, which run Linux, and whenever I try to launch the modded app through r2modman, the game lights up green on steam for a second then ends. The game doesn’t launch. Nothing.
I mean, you may have to switch to Proton 8.0-5 or Experimental, those versions are probably more reliable with modding.

Gravebears right, Proton Experimental is probably easiest route and most reliable. I have a guide made specifically for this type of scenerio. Most cases you have to force as proton experimental, launch it at least once, then quit, then the mods will work. Verified this works on steamdeck, Arch Linux, and my Fedora VM.

Using EpicMMOSystem, one person is able to recieve XP from red mobs while it is turned off/server locked. Would having him clear his mod cache fix this? apologies, still new to troubleshooting

Many configs that sync I was able to break by changing them right before starting / logging into the game. It would trick the server. Maybe try having client side regenerate first to see if its that.

First; Don't start your modding journey with ValheimPlus. It will ruin you.
Make sure the mods you're using are updated to work with the BogWitch update of Valheim. Also look at Thunderstore.io

Don't use nexus, use thunderstore with R2 or Gale.
You'll have to delete/clean out your valheim install to get the broken stuff Vortex installs removed.

Not sure that would be necessary if the issues are only caused by outdated mods.
That's the problem, the mod issues with Vortex arnt caused by outdated mods. They are caused by using Vortex. Its default deployment includes broken mod loaders which need to then be manually removed. So either you know exactly what you are doing, or you just removal it all and re-download, the latter being a lot easier for people to follow
Sorry for answering so late to the party, would stop managing the game from vortex, plus uninstalling the game on steam and reinstalling it do the trick ?
You would need to go and actually delete your game and then re-download. Steam won't remove extra files, which will leave the old files from Vortex.
Easy way to do so is right click on the game entry in steam, hit manage, browse local files and delete everything in the folder it opens

I installed the plug-in, had it generate a .cfg file and tried to modify it correctly to what I wanted, however it didn't seem like any of the changes went through?

Did you restart the server after modifying the config? The config is not reloaded automatically when the file is changed.
And did you install BepInEx from thunderstore? Other versions (e.g. from github) won't work
I am using Dathost, which shows an option to "turn on" BepinEx, doing so seems to produce the correct files for the plug-in but I'm still not sure.
I'm pretty certain I restarted the server I setting up the .cfg file but I can't say for certain.
From what I'm gathering, it should work then, no? Maybe I missed something in the original setup, I will try again tonight.

I've no experience with dathost, but it sounds like you set it up correctly. There were 2 or 3 people recently which had to uninstall and reinstall the mod to make it work. Can't say what the problem was, but that is worth a try.

Well, for starters, if @formal fossil downloaded those mods from Nexus, they will be outdated. I would start with that, before going scorch earth on the game folder.
Here is the current log file, I deleted the previously installed folders and reset everything up, configuring the .cfg file how I want, I haven't been in game yet to see if anything applied though.
Looking through it myself, I see only one instance of a configuration not being loaded (due to my error as a user)
Also, the setting "Disable/Enable the entire mode" Do I leave that to true or?
English isn't my native language so I might be over thinking this
Enabled should be true.
The logs seem to be fine. If it still does not work, try setting DiagnosticLogs = true and then try again and then send the logs again

Well, the container auto sort appears to work, but not the infinite building stamina. Not too sure about other parts of the plug-in.
ah, it's likely that this is just a documentation issue. Infinite building/farming/mining/etc. won't stop your stamina from being drained. It will let your stamina go to almost zero and then replenish just enough for the next action. So you can keep building/farming/etc. indefinetely, but you'll still have low stamina and leave you vulnerable when enemies show up

Looking through the mod's web page instructions, it appears that you can install it on your game and 'should' install it on the server, although that's not 'required'. And, players without the mod should be able to join when the mod's installed on the server.
I haven't personally tested that but it's pretty plain that's the way it works just from reading the instructions.

So yeah, steam deck is arch based so just download the .pacman from github and install with ```sudo pacman -U r2modman-3.2.3.pacman
Normally stuff is -S to install on Arch base but trust me this is what will install it. Edit: it probably will work with the app image too but I found it to be less problematic installing r2.

You need to create a webhook for the channel you want it to be in and then add that webhook in the config file.
I have had the connector set for almost 5 or more months it works fine... It's just the logs arent submitting the shouts in game

If you just have DiscordConnector on the server and not DiscordConnector_Client additionally on the server, that part should be fine. The way to move forward would be to, verify that you have discordconnector_client on all your client(s). If you already do, then you would proceed to checking the servers output.log & clients. I am willing to look at those output.logs but its probably best to keep the conversation in the public discord.

One of your mods is out of date and broken. Maybe you can pin it down by knowing what mod you added when it started throwing those errors. Or you can do this to trouble shoot:

Azudev mod often can help diagnose what mod is the problem. It will help call out what mod sometimes by specifying what object was not registered to znet. This happens when a prefab is not coded in. Symptoms often include, vfx only you can see but players around you cannot, or sfx you can hear but others don't ect.

Vortex and Nexusmods don't work well for Valheim. You need to switch to thunderstore.io and use their r2modman mod manager or the Gale mod manager.
You can search in here for 'vortex' or 'nexusmods' and get a feel for the history of their problems with the Valheim game. You really need to just delete your current Valheim directory and reinstall it from Steam.
I too suggest R2modman or Gale mod manager as well as using mods on Thunderstore.
There are a few authors who use Nexus, but most all of us use Thunderstore for mods so the selection is better.

All those things are saved elsewhere and won't be deleted when you delete your Valheim directory. They're saved in the same folder under AppData as your world files and character files are.
So I just manually move all my mods here right?
Best would be to re-install the Valheim game from Steam and then use one of the mod managers we mentioned to re-download and install the mods you want all over again from scratch. If you have personalized .cfg file for one or another of your mods, you can copy those somewhere else before you delete Valheim and then re-use them in the new installation once that's ready.

Anyone know how to clean up the drops from epic loot on my server
been noticing lag and some game breaking stuff and thought maybe its from that
IIRC, admins have a removedrops command they can use for an area clean up. Trash left in the world auto deletes after some period of time like 2 game days or something.
More importantly, it's unlikely the trash is causing your lag and sync problems. It's more likely a comm issue with one of the players. Or, if you 're using -crossplay, then could be lag in the MS playfab network relay stations or the link to/from them for the server or one or another of the players. Just one player's lag affects everyone.

You don't need a mod to do that. Just use console command ** setkey TeleportAll** and you're good.

Oh, you've mistaken the name 'mods' in the channel name to mean moderators. It doesn't. It means 'plugins' for the game. The moderators don't hang out in here any more than they do in the rest of the server channels.

hi all. my friend seems to have this issue on playing with mods. He cannot join our server while others easily can. We don't get this error that he is getting.
I would start by getting him to delete the mod profile he's using and start fresh, importing the mods from a code generated by one of you who is able to connect without problems.
@magic spruce your mod zenmaps when removed causes the mini map, and map to completely walk off the job. I couldn't get a map in vanilla for some reason either after. I was able to fix it by reinstalling my game entirely. I figured this may be of interest to you. Anyways nice mods btw! I'm really looking forward to using quite a few of them.
Nah the mod works fine. You just need to toggle the global nomap flag. Reinstall not required 😂
Look at the configs for ZenMap. It clearly talks about setting the nomap flag. Had you read that you would have seen the solution.

Yes exactly like ZenDragon put it. I personally try to make all my bosses hard, and monsters to I feel that being able to cheese them isn't winning the game so this offers a linear approach which is nice.

I think that as a mod author you would want to make your mod as useful to as many server admins as possible. Putting in options that let the admin decide how he/she wants to customize their server would be a better plan than trying to limit them to your own opinion as to how their servers should be customized.

Has anyone experienced that the Auto-pickup gets disabled by entering the world, or by use of portals?
i'm confused. I restarted my PC and can no longer load Valheim-modded of course. I have been playing for the past 6 days with no issue on a modded hardcore-ish world but now i cannot load the game.
So the BepInEx terminal window are not there, nor any traces of modding in the Playerlog?
bepinex partially loads, i reach the "Iron Gate" portion of the load process - usually- and then unity error.

The Overwolf app that's activated when using Thunderstore MM drags my entire PC.

toggling ping checkbox does happen immediately, but frequency seems to be ignored

Is there a mod like fuel eternal that is being updated? Closests i found was TorchesAndResin. Would have redo all lighting to get them to 10k though, and even that doesnt seem to be updated for ashlands. having the mod manager you simply create a profile, download the mods you want with the modmanager, then make sure to use launch modded, not vanilla in the mod manager. they should work.

It'll put new 'Nature' and 'Creator Shop' tabs in your hammer menu and you'll probably need SearsCatalog mod to see all the items that scroll off the bottom of the menu.

Make sure that when you make the server in GPORTAL, do not pick "Valheim Plus" as install but BepinEx.

I think most servers offer just bepinex now, with the exception of nitrado because they are garbage.
as most have found, you can get all the same options found in v+ from modular qol mods that arent patching 500 things and only what you want them to.

hello all, I am looking for help resolving a bug with balrond's character customization mod when running on mac. whenever I boot up, my characters all look like shadow people. I am looking for some insight into what could be causing this. I know the simple answer is "the mod" but specifically, why is it doing that? what's different between the mac and windows versions that causes this to happen on mac but not windows? any help or insight would be appreciated. thanks y'all
Mac uses the Metal API (graphics API), Windows uses DirectX or Vulkan. All of the different graphic APIs have slightly different ways of doing rendering and often shaders have to be compiled or built to support those particular ones specifically.
Typically I've seen that Metal uses transparency on solid shaders, whereas DirectX and Vulkan do not. So an object shaded as a solid surface that is using a slightly transparent texture on windows will look completely solid- but it will look see through on Mac.

DirectX No, Vulkan technically possible but, for Valheim, no.
You could run a VM or dualboot into an OS which does support those graphics APIs though
theres crossover for mac so you could run the windows version but I dont know if theres any active version of wine for mac that include gaming optimizations like proton does

Hey Guys, I've been running the game from Steam natively on my MBP with the M2 Pro chipset. However, whenever I try to connect to any server (dedicated or public), it doesn’t prompt for a password. It goes straight to connecting and then shows a "failed to connect" message, putting me back in the main menu. I couldn't find any solutions online...
so I'm a little crazy and I have a coding background and I was wondering- if I were to find a way to jam MoltenVK (an API which maps Vulkan calls to Metal) into valheim, would using the -force-vulkan steam launch argument enable me to run it like that on mac? OR do we think it would be easier to ask balrond for a copy of the source code and try to adapt it for metal?
Simplest would be to just ask Balrond to add Mac support in the project build settings.

But be aware that if you use mods that adds custom stuff into the game, and you use it, others without the mod will not see it, or be able ot use it.

So mods you're using might have unintended effect on other players experiences.
If your friends are already using nexus mods on their games, they can probably help you make the mods work on your game. Otherwise you're better off going with the thunderstore.io site for your Valheim mods. You can search in here for 'nexus' and see their reputation.
If you're going to use more than a couple mods, you might want to use a mod manager to make that easier. Thunderstore has several to choose from. They have r2modman and Gale. Both work well and are popular.
If you do decide to go with nexus mods anyway and need help later, always mention that you've got mods from nexus so that people in here know what you're dealing with when they try and help you.

Got an issue with mobs spawn right beside workbenches. Just started with my current base. Mind you, it is very very large. An island base. Only 2 very small places outside the workbench area that things can spawn.
I'm getting meadows things spawning near workbenches and even inside the main building. (a 20x20 blackmarble pyramid))
Valheim+ (Grantapher) does let you change workbench radius and enemyspawn coverage. Using the defaults (20m) or upping to 30m same thing. Smaller islands had no issue, but this is huge. (I have screenshots of the base in the mods screenie section.)
Is there a problem with nightspawns if there is no valid spot for them that is not covered by workbenches/structures? Never had this before btw. I'm also checking with V+ to see if it's a mod issue. So hard to tell.
Raid events do happen, but no actual spawns except once I had a troll show up spawning by a workbench. They cannot just climb out of the water onto the island, walls/ground too high for that)

The other day me and my friends were playing, no issues. i start it up today and the entire server is gone. i go into the files and realize it has overwritten the world with the same file name. I get the backup and rename it to .db and remove the new one. Then this happens in cmd.
Nevermind. I got it semi fixed. The backup, i dont know. It didn't have the house but I used steam to do integrity of files and now it launches. idek

are you running ZenRaids? It modifies the spawn rules so that if no fires are lit then monsters can spawn inside your base. It’s all documented on the thunderstore page.

I had modded server last time and now I want to continue 1 server with friend we first played but now the server is not starting even when I have removed BepInEx folder and everything from Plugins folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim dedicated server
is there still some mod files somewhere else?
Delete the winhttp.dll file along with anything with doorstop in the name

Then delete everything and reinstall. Once winhttp.dll is gone then it's impossible for mods to load. Problem is probably something else.
If you switch often back and forth between vanilla and modded, you should look into r2 mod manager on Thunderstore.
I have that but I only used it for player client, not for server
I fixed the issue now by copying the whole server folder into backup folder, then uninstalled dedicated server and installed again, works now
I'm not using r2 myself, but people here claims you can go back and forth on client and on server with that mod manager.

I've made 2 areas off the island that let mobs spawn, and so far, nothing on the island. (it's a good ways into the water, 44x200(ish) in size. It's all covered in benches etc. So there would no place at all for spawns except in the base. (they even spawn inside a building) umf. But not since I made those 2 little things.

yes, the things are small islands. they still get kinda washed over by waves, but large enough for stuff to spawn. (as long as I don't hear the barking deer, I'm ok)
I really should try doing that with no mods, but levelling off that island was a right pain. Don't feel like doing that again soon. 🙂

Open a support-ticket with G-Portal, and ask for how much refund you'll get, since G-Portal can't get Modding to work. Especially since they still brag about Valheim+ on their website.

Anyone gone thru the struggle of getting bepinx or r2modman onto a steam deck and have any success? Cannot get bepinx to run even tho most files are implace and given permissions to execute.
If you are using r2modman all you need to do is set the launch args as it tells you to (to the linux_wrapper.sh). Then go into the profile and verify the start_game_bepinex.sh has executable permission.
Went back and checked all of this, gave that specific launch arg another try, and still no luck. Im assuming the Bepinx code box will load with the game when I choose to run the modded profile? Yea it seems like the issue stems from Bepinex not getting permission to execute somewhere along the line. A bit frustrating, but I might have to tap out of a build competition if I cannot figure it out in the next day or so.
No, no other window opens up on Linux like it does on Windows. Either look in the lower right corner over the merch store icon for the modded text or enter a world and look for changes from the mod. If the game is launching after setting the launch args and clicking start modded in r2modman, then mods are probably loaded.

Look in the bepinex folder for the log file. That's a good sign it's loaded.

also I tested TopMining plus ImpactfulSkills together some time ago and once I unlocked aoe mining it just insta blew up the large stone chuck I was testing it on. I havent tested recently though

if you use the lexiebean one, when you mine a copper deposite it will damage the lowest part but spawn the ore where you are standing. if you use the blackviking version it will do the same except it spawns the ore where the damaged part is
its not a one click mining mod but more to stop from needing to dig up every little section of the deposite, just stand at the top and mine

impactfulskills has the mine everything in one big explosion but its only a chance to happen and only once you get the mining skill high enough

Have 5k hours of Valheim on multiple servers. For some reason getting this error on 2 different servers (Kvasir and Valhalla) with about 80+ mods each. Have played for a couple years on Kvasir. Got this error after uninstalling everything then months later regretting my decision, reinstalling and unable to connect.
So if I am running the expected mod list, with no add ons, why would one player get the 65000 error and not another?

The only way to verify if a mod still works is by launching the update.
You can make a copy of your Valheim install or if you use Thunderstore you can make a backup of the profile.

Are you sure the other 14 are actually mods and not configurations or uploads of configs? Have you read your BepInEx/LogOutput.log file for errors and mod loading issues?

If you are already using Thunderstore Mod Manager, and it appears your game is loading at least one mod. Then you need to see which mods you have, read up on them, and determine what they are/expected to be doing.
read the console window that launches with the game. Look for red errors. That data is also saved in the BepInEx/LogOutput.log file that's saved in your Thunderstore Mod Manager profile. Which you can get to by navigating there manually via the Settings -> Browse Profile Folder option.

Hello travelers, this mod causes me to see all buildings blue. Any way it can be turned off ( you need this mod to run every single mod on thunderstore)
I stopped playing Valheim for a few months after logging 5K hours the last few years. Swore I was done. Uninstalled everything from my gaming laptop. After going through regret/withdrawal, I tried playing again. I can load the mods, but can not connect to any server (Have tried 3 different ones). I keep getting a "65000" error and not able to connect. Have tried uninstallling valheim and R2 modman, deleting the bepinex folders, no effect. See my above post of the error message from last night.
Look, I have installed all required mods. But in the game, it does look like the mod works incorrectly
Your DM shows that the PlanBuild mod appears to be installed properly and you've created the Blueprint Rune, as instructed. But the rune's menu has no 'Blueprints' tab. Only a 'Tools' tab.
I've never seen this before myself and my PlanBuild mod is currently running just fine with all it's tabs in place. So, I suspect that you may have an incorrect config setting in the mod's .cfg file. PlanBuild needs to have access to whatever folder is set in the .cfg file for it's .blueprint files. So check that setting. Also, check that you may not have the HookgenPatcher file installed correctly in the BepInEx patches folder.
Check those two things and restart the game. Also, in case you're not sure about the config settings, you can delete the .cfg file and let the mod recreate it fresh again with default settings when it first runs without it.
The only other possibility I can think of for this issue is a possible incompatibility with another of your mods. If none of the above help, try a test of running PlanBuild mod alone to test that.
As @autumn stratus said, one or another of your mods is broken or incompatible with the current game version. You'll have to disable/remove them while testing to see which one(s) are causing the errors.
That's not a mod. That's the modding framework/mod loader.
One of your other mods is turning things blue. Doesn't have anything to do with BepInEx.
I'm confused. I'm playing on his server with the exact same set of mods. How come I'm not encountering this issue, nor is anyone else on the server?
Well, a couple of things come to mind that might explain that. For one thing, just because you are using the exact same mods, you may not have them configured the same way, for whatever reason.
Secondly, things other than mods can produce errors, too. Like, if you're using crossplay on the server, you need to go through the MS playfab network attaching to one of their relay servers. It could be that only your location or comm link is triggering comm errors.
And, there may be other causes that I havent' thought of yet. You'll need to do some testing and investigating to try and find the cause of the errors.
One thing you can do is get one of the players without the problem to export his mods to you in the form of an r2modman export code. Then you can use that to not only duplicate his mod list but also his config options.
And, is you haven't already done so, turn off your firewall and VPN temporarily to test for any problems there. And can you try and get on the server without mods as a test, if the server would permit that.

Hi my friends and I are currently having an issue when using the 'Targetportal' mod, it works as intended, but then all of a sudden the portals disappear on the map and we cant travel between portals properly. It works one minute and then the next, it doesnt. Would appreciate some help 🙂
I'm not familiar with that mod. Read it's instruction page carefully and see if maybe there's a console command or key bind to show them on the map briefly.
Well you can press P when on the map to show them, but none of the portals are linked now for me, and my friend only has a couple linked

The only way to reconnect them is go to the portals and activate them, but that’s very time consuming to do if we’re having to do that multiple times a day
Check the .cfg file to see if there's options in there you'd like better than the defaults.
Also, no instructions in the page for a command, no FAQ’s with these issues, but it’s a frequently used mod, but nowhere to see if people are having these same issues
Well, the defaults are fine, we just can’t figure out why the portals disappear
It could be that the mod assumes that if it left the portals on the map constantly, it would be a bother cluttering up the map for you. So, it might be intentional that you need to press "P" to show them on the map for a short time.
It also might be possible that you've got another mod that interfers with the portal mod. Try running a test with just the portal mod and see if that's the case.
Yeah you can toggle them on and off the map whenever you want, that’s not the issue, the issue is that the portals aren’t linked at all now
We don’t have any other mods that conflict with this either and has been working fine for the most part
We can travel and link up all the portals again and it will work fine once we do that, but this has happened a few times now but we have no idea why they are unlinking from eachother

Your discord server has nothing to do with it. It's only the game server and player's games and the way they connect, etc. that matter.
not necessarily modding but kinda sorta. I was screwing with devcommands, and decided to do a wacky idea. basically I want to put monuments of torment (the ones that spawn 2 star charred) in the sealed tower. However, they won't spawn for some reason. piles of bones and body piles spawn skeletons and draugrs respectively but it seems like the monuments wont.

You should be installing your mods from thunderstore.io with their mod manager r2modman.
You'll have better success with your mods and it makes it all much easier when you need to troubleshoot for a broken or incompatible mod.

also i fixed it. Seems wood spawned in by the "easy spawner" mod is just....fake?

You didn't say one way or the other in your post. There was no info at all on how you did your installs. So, I thought it would just be easier and quicker putting that info in my post to you rather than asking you and you having to take a min. to answer. It seemed logical to assume that your problem(s) could originate from your installation method since that does cause a good percentage of the issues and problems in here.
most common issues are installing old mods from nexus instead of tunderstore (or installing bepinex from upstream and not the valheim version), the weird localization bug where you need to change language to another language and back once, and just having really out of date mods or mods that conflict with each other.

All game settings are in windows registry, not a settings file.
You should make sure that Valheim runs vanilla directly from Steam Launcher, without launching the game via r2

If you just deleted Valheim folder in Steam, and redownloaded/verified the game files, I don't think the windows registry get reset for Valheim.

I have a question for a modded session im trying to do with my friends and we have the same mods but each time he tries to join my worlds he gets a black screen and hears wind but never loads in. if any one has advices would appreciate it.
When did this start for him? Has he just loaded up some new mod(s) maybe? Did it ever work ok? Is he just not waiting long enough? Are you guys using crossplay on the server? How is he trying to join you? Is he finding you in the Steam server listings?
If you have crossplay going on, and you don't need it to support Xbox users, remove it. Then make sure your ports and the server ports are forwarded properly in your home routers.
Also, have him make sure it's not a comm issue with him trying to connect to you and failing. Check your and his Firewalls and VPNs. Are any tasks running in the background of the PCs. Turn those off temporarily to test.
Some mods dont support cross-play and will fail to load when connecting due to that. Try hosting without crossplay and see if that fixes it

Try changing it to "Custom" and then adding the drop item prefab name and number you want in the Drop Config, as you showed.

You'll need to know the prefab name of the mob drop item. You can get that with the WorldEdit mod and hover over the item and put the "object info" command in the console. There may be easier ways to get the prefab name but that's the way I know about and use myself.

i think i figured it out? i think the 1-1 is just literal. When u kill you get 1 to 2 pelts, changing it both to 2 has them consistantly dropping 2

i'm starting to play Valheim again, and updated r2modman and all of my mods. I'm getting errors now when running ComfyGizmo with PerfectPlacement. Its hard to interpret all of this red text, but it looks like the key components here are HarmonyX and Player.UpdatePlacementGhost(). is this a known issue? do i have to pick one or the other now?

The author have stopped modding for Valheim and therefore deprecated all their mods.

i just started using AutoMapPins by FixItFelix. i started to explore, seemed to be working ok. left the game, and came back. now every pickable that was detected previously has a yellow radar ping on it.

I don’t have a strong opinion on that. If some still work, people could still use them. Depreciation removes them from search, right?
Default search, yes. It flags them on thunderstore stating the mods are not actively being maintained and that alternatives are suggested. It doesn't remove them from the site. People can still use them if needed.
I will note that I have deprecated AutoMapPins since it's not being maintained and appears to be in a broken state based on above.
You, as the author can override this at any point in time and push an update.
well, thats too bad. because out of all the ones ive tried, yours was my favorite... apart from that bug which has made it unusable 🙁
So over the years ive modded everything from skyrim to fallout and 7 days and conan exiles but ive been having an issue with this, so i downloaded ValheimPlus the Grantapher version from the Thunderstore and moved the files to steam and Nitrado Server like i do for Conan Exiles because i also have a server for it on Nitrado but everytime i load into my Valheim server it says the versions dont match i looked at all the files they have the same date same file size the config file is good the valheimplus dll is good why is it still yelling wrong version ive went through reddit to find help but nothing and i went to github but got confused, anyone got an idea?
The mod might not be loading in one of the locations
lol, and dont even bother with nitrado support, they are the worst of all for help. most the time they send you to their forum for help, but really that just turns into people having the same issue as you.
I usually suggest nitrado users enable V+ in their admin panel, then use ValheimMinus mod to stop it from loading. Use modular qol mods for the features you want.
Can anybody help with this? Everytime I enter a game, it’ll freeze me in the falling animation and I can’t move or do anything
Try disabling Seasons to see if it is causing the issue. It looks like you're using an older version of that mod. You might want to update it here: https://thunderstore.io/c/valheim/p/shudnal/Seasons/changelog/

Whenever I took the PTB off it wont let me enter my servers and says [BAD VERSION]
Characters and worlds have a versioning system. When you play a character on PTB it usually has its version incremented and is no longer usable in older versions of the game. But thankfully since the beta access password is yesimadebackups, I'm sure you have a backup to use.
This also might be caused by version mismatch of client and server. One of them may be on PTB still or you might have Valheim+ installed on one but not both

Both "build planner" mods don't work properly. 1 gives me weird text and when I put down the tablets and interact with them nothing happens and the other one just keeps the console open in the main menu without letting me close it
Having issue with RustyMods Seasonality. New season keeps happening anytime we log in and the seasons aren't syncing with the server cause I have people logging in at different times and getting different seasons.
See if the mod has a 'Server Sync' option in it's .cfg file on the server, if it does, turn it on.
Are you playing on the PTB? If so, don't use mods there.

Then, check to see that none of your mods are out of date. And you can always try a test run with just one of the mods there and verify that it's working or not.

Yeah I had a feeling thats why i was put in timeout. I was just copying what I had in my cfg file and when i saw it was big and loud and then i got put in timeout I figured thats what happened.
This is what it reads now so hopefully that will be what i needed to fix it.

Hi, I'm trying to copy a build from a vanilla world into a riverheim generated world. Unfortunately, when booting r2modman on Linux all the vanilla worlds display as "Bad World" and when running vanilla from steam I have no access to the PlanBuild mod + the riverheim world displays as Bad World. It seems r2modman is pointing to a different local_world folder than steam?
r2modman doesnt have any impact on where the saves are loaded from

doesnt reverheim change the world generation? it would make sense that you cannot load vanilla worlds with it loaded
Are you guys talkling about the Riverheim mod? Yes, it generates custom worlds.
Riverheim does generate custom maps, are those maps unloadable to anyone without riverheim? That's surprising. Usually generation and loading are two different things.
From Riverheim's mod page:
world generation happens every time you get near a previously unknown chuck. so it makes sense to me that it could block loading vanilla worlds from loading when installed and prevent its own worlds from being loaded when its not loaded
now for an actual solution to the the problem at hand. make a new mod profile and just install the planbuild and other mods in it that you need to copy the build out of the vanilla world
Good to know, so everyone will need Riverheim to play together.
However, if I uninstall/disable all r2modman mods I am still unable to load vanilla worlds when launched via r2modman.
Just FYI, keep in mind that generating a world is different from rendering a world.
Hey, I keep having this issue with not being able to open a save while using mods. If someone is willing to help, let me know what to do next.
Get all your mods, including the BepInEx pack from thunderstore.io and make sure the ones you get have been updated within the last 9-10 months or so.
What happens when you try to login to your world? You're playing the Steam version on a Windows PC? And you're talking about your solo game not a server?
I updated them this morning. When I try to start a save, I first notice there is no character on the loading screen. When I press start, it says that this invisible character (who of which I never created) has the name Ragnar. I press the forward and back buttons to go back to my actual character, which for some odd reason is missing all of it's clothing and other customizable features (along with all my other characters.) Pressing my world I want to play on with any of my characters results in a "void/null" error and nothing to happen, leaving me stuck in the menu.
I will launch the game to send some screenshots as examples.
Also forgot to specify, I am using R2modman on a Windows 11 PC that uses my game from Steam.
And I am on single player, sorry keep forgetting specifications.

Are you playing on the PTB or the current release game version? Check all your mods for their last update. Just getting them recently doesn't mean they're recent.

A mod may conflict with another, or just is broken, typically looking for more recent updated mods or filtering the search for at least Bogwitch should have working mods - if you're not on ptb..
