The ones in the ground are just hard to get and not recommended, if its submerged you're screwed, you can get a stack of scrap iron from the piles in Crypts you just have no choice but to search for them

Especially when you have to swim once in a while because the pile outside the crypt gets flooded.

Just referring, being sarcastic about the meme a few years ago where one of the Devs in an interview was asked about why they allow "cheating" in standard game and Vanilla servers. The Dev replied that those servers are for people to "cheat all they want", people free to play the way they like etc.... The one guy said earlier he played Vanilla, then other guy said to just spawn them.....served that one up on a platter.

If you found the wolf at night, and started eating before sun-rise, the 30 minutes will only count down during night. And of course; The taming pauses, if the animal are starving or spooked.

No, 30 minutes from the point it starts the taming process, which can continue during day time too for starred animals, given if it started the process before dawn. And it's total of 30 minutes so it can pause if the animal gets alerted or is hungry, but continue at the point it was at.

Flying enemies will be the only thing that gets in during raids…Bats, drakes, wraiths. Put tamed creatures in housed building to keep them from getting killed during raids

If you're going to be full mage then it's very useful to have, your greatest defensive layer won't be the armor rate from the Eitr-Weave set but the shield bubble casted by Staff of Protection.

There are 3 Eitr foods in Mistlands: Seeker aspic, Yggdrasil porridge and Stuffed mushroom. I usually rely on Aspic and Mushroom plus stamina food/feast option due to them being cheaper than the Porridge. But once you defeat the Mistlands boss you gain access to Mistlands feast (ingredient available from Bog Witch), which grants some additional Eitr too. Porridge will be one ingredient for that feast.

If you mean greydwarves there's probably a spawner nearby if there's that many.
If you mean fulings you're too close to a plains which is the fifth biome. You should avoid them until you have better equipment.

In the build menu's crafting tab you'll see objects marked with stars. These are improvements that can be placed next to a crafting station to upgrade it.

Mining and woodcutting make long-range sounds so they will attract a lot of enemies. Greydwarves are scared of fire so you could put down a few campfires to stop them from coming close.

When I dig copper the first thing I do is dig deep. That way most stay up on the higher ground, and only a few will fall in with you. Making them much easier to deal with. It also makes trolls easy to deal with.

Then you can turn the copper node into a sheltered area, put up a fire and work bench, and just stay there and mine the entire node.

Ok, so there is a command for it, just be aware that it can be somewhat random where around you the command places the location. Can be a bit behind you, next to you, almost exactly at the place you are standing at, etc... Also the height it gets spawned at the height your character is currently standing at.

Why single out a single skill like that though? Lots of other skills can also be farmed, some even easier. And this "farm-prevention" actively hinders natural skill progression for an already very slowly leveling skill.

The Queen is a rather complicated fight. So no one "strategy" is going to work for the entire fight.

Without spoiling what type, but she deals one type of "elemental" damage, so having some resistance meads is useful.
She can summon mobs so AoE options are helpful.

sure! magic is lots of fun, also my "safest" Mistlands experience so far due to ranged capability and shield bubble

There is no "should" answer, it depends if you want to switch to mageplay. It's different kind of playstyle that benefits the most from the whole eitr armor set (for eitr regen) and having protection staff for the viable defensive layer. All elemental staves have ranged attack.
You basically have 2 different stat bars: stamina for movement and eitr (magic) for casting with staves. HP is not necessary to have high amount due to having shield bubble from protection staff which blocks all damage.

mm, arrows and pierce weapons in general won't do much, that said yes frost are probably the best option, but just to tickle him and prevent healing while you recover health from behind rocks, best options are all melee >> ||frostner and black metal sword are almost equally good, silver sword is best option|| also keeping fire protected with barley wine is highly recommended

good, so silver sword is best, personally i went with no shield and sword, since parrying him doesn't stagger (as with all bosses) dodge-rolling and running/jumping around is best to avoid damage, with heavy armor and ratatosk mead i was able to keep myself behind him by just walking, so stam will recover and i was able to hit him, then just run behind rock pillars when you need to recover health so meteors won't hit you, also avoid being in front of him at a distance, breath attack is very vicious

The way I did it was fire resistance melee + bow. Go in with melee and attack dodge the fire attack if you want but I generally just stay in there and go for damage. when he does the meteor attack run and hide behind a pillar or run behind yagluth and look at the sky to avoid the meteors. Breath attack just run to the side. If you get slightly low run away and heal and shoot arrows at him as you do so

Just take it slowly, rinse and repeat and then he’s a breeze

Frostner or silver sword is nice for the weakness damage and if you do that you don’t need to craft a new weapon until mistlands

Yagluth is not technically weak against anything, he just takes normal damage from blunt, slash, frost, lightning and spirit damage, is resistant against fire, very resistant against pierce and immune to poison.

So yeah, silver weapons with added spirit damage or blackmetal sword are better options. Flesh Rippers work too.

yup! RNG is very unforgiving when it comes to materials for Fenris set, also finding the Cultist trophy can be a hell of a itch if luck isn't on your side

If you'd have to choose only 1 weapon for Plains the best option would be Porcy since it has good damage types against all Plains mobs: pierce for Lox, blunt for Growths and Fulings have no resistances and squitos die to 1 hit anyway. Not best against Yag tho, but doable.

Hello, I'm currently hunting wolves and I've noticed that I'm encountering fewer of them. They usually come in pairs and are quite common in the mountains, but now I’ve only seen just one in like, 5 min walk. Is this normal?

with copper, you can make a mead kettle which will be for potions

then with iron, you get a preparation table for more late game foods

most of the foods from the preparation table will need to be cooked in ovens which you can build once you beat the mountain boss

if you are planning on mass producing food in the future, space for the ovens will be the biggest consideration... everything else is small

also, there are now feasts which are placed out on a table instead of being stored in a chest... if you have many of these out then you will need to plan for table space to hold these feasts

also, when making food or crafting anything now, you can hold shift and it will make 5x the amount

No, durability doesn't show. Also when you cast the bubble again while you have the timer remaining still it only resets the timer but doesn't raise the HP of shield to max.

New shield when having none beforehand will gain max HP.

You can "handle" them with any weapon. The biggest "trick" I have found is to simply not let them surround you.

Once you get a handle on using your terrain, you will be getting 20, 30 wolf meat in no time. If your playing with a friend or spouse, you can get 40+.

As Smiffe has confirmed, the more you kill, the more you get to kill.

Once you get good at killking them, they just keep coming. Like I said, you can get over 40 of them as a pair, into the 30's solo.

Ideally I have a fuling camp, Lox, or a growth pit to help a guy out, but you can do it all by yourself as well. Golems will help you out as well.

Eat first and just practise reeling in initially. You don't have to catch things to level up your fishing skill.

Don't reel when they struggle, it drains the most stamina. The line doesn't get more lenght even when not reeling so you can pause freely and meanwhile it doesn't drain stamina (or just very minimal) but doesn't regen either. Also you can press S key to move backwards with the fish on hook.

For most events to end, a player must stay in the active event area until the timer runs out. The event timer is paused if there are no players in the event area (except for the "You are being hunted..." event).

Timer does not reset as far as I know, just need to be in the red circle on the minimap if you have that map enabled until the raid event ends

This is just some the balancing tweaks for mobs that came in or shortly after ashlands ptb, there are more for equipment and enviroment 🙂

The troll has a tiny bit lower armor value but doesent slow you down, so many people prefer that one and save bronze for other stuff, but it is a good armor if you dont mind a bit more mining 🙂

In each world there are 10 possible spawn points for each trader, when you enter the proximity of one spawn point the trader will spawn there and disable other possible spawn points for that trader. But basically/simply you can find them anywhere.

I saw that a few people had trouble finding the QR code thing for Yagluth (as was I) so I went with a theory that it was put much further out in the world and sure enough the 2nd plains I checked had it. Its just a sample size of one so I dont know if its just a coincidence or not... it would make sense from a design perspective to make you explore further out and discover more of the world to find the location.

Just a coincidence 🙂 the vegvisirs for Yagluth are realy rare in general so they are pain to find sometimes. Usually its easier to find the altar itself.

basicly how 5G internet works is he have to fight everyone else in his area with his connection stability and package losses

so on a good day, it's solid 100%. when everyone is using it to call friends, look on netflix or streaming. it's bad
