Welp, sad that this whole year no new biome
Well maybe I’m getting ahead of myself. Only console release is confirms this year
We could get deep north this year, it’s just not guaranteed
If it ain't guarenteed, it prob not happening
I thought my quality 3 Pike was as big as they get. You're telling me somewhere out there, there's a level FIVE pike!? How do I find this monster
As a general rule of life or just in this one case?
and a level 4
Both tbh
Better to not expect anything to not be disappointed when it doesn’t happen
You can allow this in world options
Don't like sailing? 😅
Turn teleporting everything portals on than
Nah it just that i mined like 90 units of copper and around 30 of tin
All by using a base camp i have on an island with a black forest
And i thought i would be able to teleport it back
Still got a karve so its slow going when it comes to hauling cargo
Also man i wish the sails kept deployed so i can shoot off my karve
as long as you dont get off the ship the sails should stay down and youll keep sailing
Also didnt know that enemies persist
I just came across a wraith i stranded at sea lmao
anything except night spawns(things that only spawn at night) and raid mobs will not despawn
That's not so bad, should be able to hold all of that in 1 karve inventory 🫡
Maybe if i didnt miscount
Why would you choose the carapace shield over buckler?
Pretty sure the hildir quest plains raid mob disappeared after the raid event
Why's the mountains extreme north a different color
that's what i said
I was playing a pretty heavily modded game, but I got a brother's raid, they ran off after the raid was over, then I found them later in the middle of the black forest fighting random things. I don't think they despawn.
God the enemy aggression towards ships and carts is frustrating. I step away to see if i found a crypt and a group of 8 skeletons just gang up on my karve
one blocks and one parrys
Shield is better at blocking attacks, worse at parrying. So it’s for if you don’t trust your parry timing
It shows the older Ashlands gen on bottom part and current DN gen on top part of the map.
Both parrys
These pictures might explain it better how the master world gen works.
nice to see an updated version
So every map fits on that map in some way or another?
Oh wait.
I think i can see my starting island on there
How probable is a Valheim 1.0 announcement date on the 7th of june?
Like what else could there be announced
If the island i think is my starting island IS my starting island.
Then I dont think ill have any of the tallest mountain's.
Cause the island is smack in the middle of them
Haven’t read the latest devblog but generally I guess lots of things could be announced. Merch drop, Deep North sneak peek, new game, etc.
#screenshots message was curious how much i get from various items
turns out that Odin is grateful but not very
Is there any news on the launch of Valheim on ps5?
During this year, but no specific date announced yet.
Thank you, I’ve been waiting so I can get my friend on the game
when destroying tapiseries of red jute or fenris hair, there's sound of wooden door being destroyed, likewise when bats arrive there's sound of skeletons arrival. Is this a known bug?
or just WIP thing until they make proper sounds for these
Just occurred to me, trees are resistant to chop damage.
So what are trees weak to?
fire
Unless they are eucalyptus.
They'd be very weak to fire damage
Unless they are eucalyptus trees.
... Would that particular plant thrive in the ashlands?
if they didnt need water or sunlight
if youre talking about grey damage when chopping, they're not, iirc its a visual bug since the slash damage is higher
Ahah, so they are only resistant to SLASHing damage.
... I mean that makes sense, you ever tried to chop down a tree? They ain't no pushovers.
unless it's been raining a lot, then a stiff breeze will topple them.
Actually immune to slash. But axes have their own chop damage property (not visible in weapon stats) that damages the trees, but since the slash part is higher than chop it shows damage number as grey colored.
That seems very confusing
Like said, visual bug.
Right, cancelling my plans to build armor entirely out of wood.
Root armor you mean?
since dvergrs drop soft tissue upon killing them and they have crates of it, arent they trafficking flesh of their own kind?
No, it is ||brain tissue of Jotunns||.
why do they drop 1 soft tissue tho
why do they keep a piece in their pockets
Do you think the coins are their body parts too? 👀
Oh dear. I seem to have misplaced my axe
I think black metal lumps are part of the Fulings. Like their spleen or brains or something. We never find completed bars and they themselves seem to use neolithic weapons.
interesting lore question then, ||when/where are the yotuns in ashlands that the morgens eat and poop out in their caves?||
I have a speculation on the Ashlands, I think pre-collapse it was an elven kingdom. Primarily because the Charred skeletons are about 1.5 times as tall as the human sized skeletons but also because the 'Emerald Flame' sounds very elven.\
does the skull splitter have the same secondary attack as the crystal battleaxe?
all battleaxes have the same
all weapons for that matter
I also suspect its is the currency we use in game. Lore stones and its place in progression both suggest it was the dominate power of the world, so I should think by and large trading was and still is done with that kingdom's currancy.
We also know that Fader and Yug were at the very least neutral powers to each other, possibly allies? Since Fader went to speak with him about something (I have a guess as to what) So I don't think its far fetched to say Fulings drop Emerald Flame currancy.
would you choose the splitter or jotun bane
never yotun bane. 1 hand axes are worse in every way than every other weapon
1 hand axes are for leveling your axe skill til you can make battleaxe
even for the trees?
i see
battleaxe has no mtp on trees, you can chop 3 trees for full damage, then chop them and their 3 stumps for full damage as they fall
only time BA is worse if you find yourself chopping down single trees
Holy smokes where did I put my axe. I was maximzing weight/space for a specific task that did not involv chopping and now I cannot find it
Has anyone here ever taken on 2 blue trolls at the same time and survived?
yup, its not uncommon to encounter 2 trolls at the same time
The ground is shaking...
I did last night as well. I barely survived by running away
I was fighting one troll, and I got his health meter down pretty good and then out of nowhere, I saw another one just come at me
good strat is learn to parry them, then if you fight more than one try to put them behind each other so only one is close enough to swing at you making it a 1v1
I tried to parry the one I was fighting. I almost died
I don't know what's worse, a blue troll from this video game or the Black Widow from "Grounded"
😄
At least it was just blue trolls
I was reading that the two handed atgeir is a good weapon to use against the trolls
they get less scary the more you fight them and learn their timing. ya atgier can be good if you cant parry for your life
hate tjem log ones
me too
I can't parry for my life against the trolls
now the greylings.....no problem now
but I can't see how you can parry against a troll's double-fist move
especially when you get 90% health taken away from you
that move does slightly more damage, with a bronze buckler and health food its all very possible once you learn timing, but ya.
I'm researching it now, and what you just said here is what I'm finding out
never managed to parry the log trolls with the bronze atgeir on my first playthrough. That was the last time I used atgeirs until the mistlands
what's your weapon/shield combo against blue trolls?
somebody said that I could stun lock them with the MMB but it never worked lol
bronze buckler atleast level 2
to be safe
I'm going to have to go for that buckler then
along with copper knife
when I get home, time to go mining
have you ever parry blocked a blue trolls double-fist move successfully?
once theyre stunned use the leap attack on the copper knife and spam left click
overhead smash? nah i try to avoid it until I've got my buckler maxed up
Honestly if the troll parrying is tripping you up it's not a bad idea to just turn on god mode and sit there and parry it for 20 minutes straight until you can do it in your sleep. A one time investment will make it so you're never afraid of them again.
I'll try to remember that move when I'm fighting LOL
I don't think there's god mode on xbox
have the devs shared their plan for a 1.0 release window?
unless it's some button/trigger combo
my friend beat a 1 star troll in the cave with torches lmfao he just kept on dodge rolling. it was insane
Find a troll cave, put a campfire and wall off the outer area around the entrance if you have to play it straight.
Go inside, and just parry until you miss one, run out and heal, go back and do it again.
Put a bed out there too, so if you die, you can just respawn right outside and go back in.
when I dodge-roll a troll, I always dodge-roll into the troll's AoA 😭
I need to continue practicing dodge-rolling with a troll
ya looks like you need 70 max hp to parry with an atgeir. the idea isnt to parry but them tho, you use the secondary which had high stagger multiplier, then crit them to stunlock
Dodge has immunity frames. And it's more generous than the parry window. If you practice on parry timing, dodge rolling in the same window will almost always guarantee a miss.
even within the troll's AoA?
Yes.
ah okay, I'll have to try it
You can let the slam land right on top of you, you'll be immune to it.
i see
interesting
whats aoa
AoA = Area of Attack
Area of effect would be the more commonly used term.
AoE. But we know what you meant.
ah okay
Practice on a regular troll, log trolls have a much easier attack pattern.
i just know aoe but i never heard aoa before
But darnit, I have to say
if you dont want to do god mode you can make a q3 bone tower shield and stuff as much meat into your face as you can and just block them to feel when the impact is
Moats are awesome
Regular trolls attack faster before and after his slam move, and his slam move is usually the second one after the initial swing.
And the parry timing in this game is way more forgiving than soul-likes.
If you get used to it you really can do it in your sleep.
farm the bear stuff and then go after trolls, best approach imo
because of the 40 health bear meat gives?
It's too bad you can't fill all three food slots with the same food
well the weapon and armor is pretty good aswell up and for swamp
I wouldn't mind going into battle against a troll with 120 health
Unlike some games, your ability to parry/block in this game is based on a formula that takes your HP into account.
their attacks are more predictable if you know their attacks have cooldowns, 4 seconds for punch 20 for slam, if they’re off cooldown they’ll use them. thats why slam can come soon after punch, and punch is ready again soon after slam cuz 4 seconds have passed
devs should really make a recipe for bear meat
Basically, if you don't have enough HP, even if you hit the timing perfectly, it'll break through your parry/block and kill you.
and bonemaw meat
Just before going to work this morning, I finally made that mince soup
gives 40H and 13S
or something like that
Even if it doesn't kill you, it'll stagger you and likely get you killed anyway if there's anything else about.
bear meat gives 40 health and if you can just dip in the swamp and get some turnips you could make glizzies
oh mb
I think you mean lizard tail.
right, tail lol
But yeah, I've seen you post about trolls quite a few times in the last two days. 😛
they give me fits
I think you should schedule a date with a cave troll.
oh no way
Won't be a problem for you ever again.
I think I'll practice with blue trolls first
It's the same thing. Cave trolls can't leave the cave.
just that 2nd one that appeared out of nowhere while I'm fighting one already just gave me PTSD
That's why you want to practice on those. Cause if you eat a hit you can just leave and heal right outside.
avoid the red ones
And there's only ever 1 cave troll inside a cave, and nothing else can get in or out to distract you in the middle of a fight.
for temporary shelters
Yupp
I don't have the ability to make stone blocks yet, but last night, I started renovating one with wood
Or don't, once you learn how their attack patterns work it won't matter what the difficulty setting is or how many stars they have.
There's a reason people use trolls to farm copper/finewood etc.
I practice more before I get the buckler
i love to make an early base in one. make my bedroom upstairs, build a balcony, put up some thistle lights…
They're so predictable you can use them like heavy construction equipment once you're familiar with their attack patterns.
Its kinda fun renovating ol' ruins :3
one of the best parts of the game is improvising building around existing structures/terrain
when I was doing it last night, it was raining hard and I had a platoon of greylings attack it
Ask them politely to stop 🙂
lol
spike funnels are nice quick defense, just spam repair and bait them into you
People don't utilize spikes enough, especially those ashland ones that only cost 6 ashwood that you can build with just a workbench. Those are so nice.
ashwood spike damage is insane
thats the first thing i do when i land is make a simple wall and a spike funnel in case the dead march
I don't know what made them go the route, but I feel like there was a major disconnect in design philosophy from dvergr stakes to ashwood spikes.
ya its very weird dverger spikes do the same damage
Mistland options almost feels like they don't want you to build em at all unless you are using it in a well established base, the Ashland version feels like a "here ya go, build as many as you want, anywhere you want em."
One needs yaggi wood, 2x iron and needs a black forge just to build. The other one is just ashwood and a workbench. It's like two different people designed em.
Oh yes, and the fact that it does the same damage as a regular sharp stake wall. It's just a really weird design choice.
can you use chitin on something more other than knife and harpoon?
Winter is?…
There's a trinket
4th leviathan in a row
x
For those that have crop fields, how do you protect them? Build a moat around the fields, or just a standard fence?
I use stake walls, enemies can sometimes see through fences
if enemies can’t see your crops they won’t be attacked
Earth walls and buried campfires in the plains. In the mistlands I recruit the dverger to protect it as well.
i need advice on building a base
i wanna start building now after swamp, like a bigger better base, but i feel like i also dont cause i can get way cooler materials down the line
new base every biome
yeah seems like a good idea
Or just do add ons. I’ve been meaning to do a black marble mage tower but never got around to it. Maybe next playthrough.
in reality i have a few specific bases i choose to make throughout my runs
early base by spawn, i'll cart over all bronze age upgrades to it... then I sail off for iron, harvest it and make a new base around a mountain, finish mountain upgrades and make my final base in the plains nearby a mistland for full farming capability
Oh yeah! I built a black marble mage tower around the fire at the Elder arena
If you play on "da homies" for Xbox would love to talk to an admin about reversing my ban. I read the rules and didn't see joining VC everytime I play was mandatory. I really enjoyed the server so would like not to have wasted all that time.
It looks like Sh- but I feel cool on top of it
Nice, that would fit the aesthetic for me since I usually put my afk blood magic leveling thing under the elder arena.
hey this tower structure in the plains, can i take over that or do enemies spawn there?
you cant build inside
I really like building with core wood likely, log cabin type structures
Nothing stopping you from building on the outside though!
ahem...is it normal that the 2nd boss is on another mainland other than the first?
i just spent 30mins sailing around my mainland until finally a great sea path there opened up....and ofc i died 2 times during landfall. because of reasons -.-
this totally felt like being the pirates in asterix 🤕
should i start a new valheim playthrough
If you feel like it, then go ahead! When did you play last time?
does anyone know how far the removedrops command works?
uh like 8 months ago
ive already beaten the game 3 times
call to arms update made some pretty big changes worth playing for
thats pretty recent
are you itching for a game to play and just going through the list or is valheim specifically calling to you?
are there any valhiem servers i can join?
you posted right below someone linking to #1024264966712340510 earlier
lol. just tried for science to parry a 2 star charred soldier with dundyr and mage robes by using evasion mantle and fader power. half the time it double staggered me too but it worked. until i THOUGHT the thing loaded itself already and apparently it didn't and I tried to parry while it tried to load itself again. 230 hp later... 💀 has anyone ever suggested dundyr reload working differently? like not automatically after you fire or idk something different?
it just doesn't fit close up combat to always reload after every shot and be locked in draining eityr unless you sprint or dodge or holster the thing, i want to be able to reload when i want to reload
ok i go into suggestions theres hundreds saying the same things. 🤷♂️ i really WANT to like magic
u can make a cauldron which has a chain, without a chain, thank you
Made the toothpick for my secondary weapon, with the krom being primary
What is toothpick?
Would make the mistwalker but the toothpick is more flexible to use

Carapace toothpick 😭
They are the most effective toothpicks.
Don't underestimate em.
Killed serpent with wolf toothpick easily: #memes-and-clips message
xD it just melted
Is it a guaranteed death sentence to have both, the feather cape and root harnesk on?
No
Resistances or weaknesses do not stack, and weaknesses are overwritten by resistances, so drink some barley wine
the weaknesses dont stack, and are cancelled out by either: Having the WET debuff, barley wine, or the ||fader forsaken power||
Wow. Come back to the game after a year and run into a bear. WTF is that. My arrows did next to nothing against it.
That's what you get for bearreling into their home
It seems like melee training time.
I was exploring an empty village and it came around the corner. First and second deaths of that game.
I think it was Day 4 and the village was right next to Black Forest.
Those damned things are psychos, I mean just look at them! My first encounter went no different, I can tell you. It was camping around an Elder altar like some kind of warm-up boss-encounter or something. Nowadays i go out of my way to hunt them, though. Good drops, especially for a fist-build
After they were added my group were thrilled to hunt them.
Do you think Myers would take spirit damage?
Jason defiantly would as he's definitively undead. Freddy would because dream 'demon' ...
Jason and Myers would have a metric fuck ton of HP.
what's the command for no stamina usage again?
Setkey staminarate 0
Didn't know this, having all parts of armor for resistances makes no sense then
For fire resist I need just one fenris armor part
No, the fire resistence is part of the set effect
Wasn't that just fist bonus?
Nope, the fire resist too
It doesn't show up in the set bonus buff, is this hidden mechanic?
https://valheim.fandom.com/wiki/Fenris_Set
If you look here you can see that the fire res and fist bonus is only at the "full set" portion of a table 🙂
Well in game it's listed under each armor part, not the set bonus. So either wiki or game is wrong or just wrong description
set bonus is listed on each part, but only the speed is individual bonus
That is seriously misleading if true
The in-game description does list both the fist and fire res as a set bonus for having 3 parts equiped.
The speed bonus is separate from it
Ok going to check in game
must remember it wrong then
Meh, no worries. Happens all the time.
-# At least to me... xD
is the frost resist from mead the same as from cloak?
Yep
and i was drinking the mead thinking that it would stack, placebo effect
Only poison resist differs between the mead and armour piece effect
Same as moder buff as well
Yeah 😄
No stacking, higher one applies
the game doesn't tell which one is higher
I dont think there is any way to get slightly or very resistant vs cold
i did drink the mead for Bonemass fight
For frost certainly true. Now i cant remember if it tells you that poison res is different, gonna check.
THe mead gives very resistant to poison, while the Mask does not
missed that one
I am aware 😄 but i dont remember if the game actually shows you that
the tooltips say it 🙂
Last i checked the mead doesnt tell you its 0.75 but the armor does tell you its 0.5
Yep, you are right
Correct me if im wrong
Armour says "resistant" and mead says "very resistant"
the numbers arent shown in vanilla gameplay
Also correct 🙂
Can someone tell me why all of my 2 star tamed boars just vanished for no reason :(?
Doesnt the fenris set say 0.5 vs fire?
Tooltips need updating then imo
Why? Normal player doesent really need the exact numbers. Its nice, sure, but current state is more than good enough 😄
For technical sense, they could include it, but the 3-part scale of "slightly, normal, and very" are adequate imo
Idk i like more information
Also, once you learn the resistant is 50% and very resistant is 75% you can apply it to all of resistances.
Maybe make it a toggle for more detailed tooltips
💡
That i would not be against 😄
To suggestions i go!
Might also include showing of chop and pickaxe dmges for aplicable tools 😄
how do you get that info if not outside of the game?
I was talking about getting it outside 🙂 since as Euphoria said the Slight, Normal and Very descriptions perfectly suffice for average player.
You can get fire resist by being wet in a pinch.
rule of thumb is that wind always going against the ship
rowing more than sailing on this accursed trip
on a new save file.
trying to fight a bear with a wood shield and flint knife.
i can see why newbies have so much trouble.
i am having trouble 😂
Or, if you are lucky enough, the Early Axes

For the first three years I played Valheim, I didn't know you could row forwards.
I don't know why I never tried. It just made sense to me that since you're the only one moving the boat, and you were sitting at the back of it, the only rowing motion that made sense was reversing. Then my fiancee who had been playing for a month looks at me and goes, "You know you don't have to turn that boat around, right? You can just row forward if you go at the lowest speed."
I used to put the boat in reverse, every time I lost wind while sailing.
So I could slowly make it towards where-ever I was going. And if I picked up wind while doing that, I'd turn the boat around again.
And then sometimes the wind would change while I was doing that, and I'd have to circle the boat around again...
... for three years.
Although the duration is shorter, wet is actually better fire resist than fenris or wine.
Because wet significantly shortens duration you’re on fire. And effectively reduces it to zero if you’re submerged in water
Sounds like the fiancee saved you lots of time.
Oh yeah.
i'm actually using a map viewer to find wooden structures 2 and 6. wooden structure 6 is everywhere but the nearest wooden structure 2 was behind a black forest and had no chests even after generating it a second time
-# I see you also have private early axes emoji.

-# Might, or might not be stol... ehm... borrowed from you

It's said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
wheres a moderator at right now?
nomod for you
You can send DM to @dusky pivot to reach out moderators.
I was noticing the wooden thing wiggling sometimes when I was in a boat, but never connected it to rowing until now. I was also struggling with ocean travel + wind. I finally figured out last night that I could still move if I rolled the sail up.
why stone wall 4x2 costs 6 stones and stone stairs cost 8
doesnt make sense as the wall is bigger than stairs
I hope they add wisp braziers to the game at some point (with or without a larger area of effect than the torches), if only so I can set up a nice little network of lights among the unorganized mess of wisplight torches
OOOO " final stages of development for the Deep North" Its only like 5 more years away!!!
i'm pumped
I'm so excited to find out what crop we can grow from it
I'm hoping potatoes
No wait, that's not a viking crop, nevermind
ah, magecaps - classic viking crop
bananas
gotta say going from crystal to black metal battleaxe feels like a downgrade visually 😅
crystal one is badass
yeah black metal weapons are pretty ugly where as silver weapons are cleeeaan
it's even a bit shorter
Quick question
What does Ashlands fire do to wood? Does it return the wood when ember storms destroy wood structures? Or does it turn it into charcoal?
wood turns into coal
you can use staff of embers to burn wood instead of using slow charcoal kilns
only in Ashlands or only if you have fire spread on if you want to do it in other biomes too
if you have fire spread on you can place stack of 50 wood on campfire and get 50 coal almost instantly
Ahh, so the key is turning on the Ashlands-burn-in-other-biomes feature!
Thank you very much
So I was hunting wild boar and deer around Hildir's area, and I ran into a little green goblin. I think it was called a furling? Oh. Fuling. He dropped some black metal.
Indeed he did! Gather as much as you can
i bet it laughed before it died
Nice, thats a mob from 5th biome
Yeah, my Hildir spawn is right next to the ocean, in meadows, next to a swamp, and also connects to a Black Forest and Plains!
I'm seriously considering a new base.
Ahhh, so the key isn't striking the wood pile with a direct fireball, but constructing the pile on top of the burning the fireball leaves behind
I haven't found any if the merchants yet
If that swamp has a few dungeons and the plains are reasonably big (or even if not if just big enough for farm) and the forest has some ore, I can highly recommend a Hildir base, is nice
i think odin hates me
it has not stopped raining for 3 days
Just found out I can't harvest jotun puffs and magecaps I planted with the scythe, it's unfortunate
can't use scythe on any mushrooms in the game
I thought it was just on any crop you can't cultivate (like pre-mistlands mushrooms, fiddleheads, berries, etc)
Jotun puffs, Jotun puffs!! Mistlands packed yummy flavor!!!
Depends if you go in there or not. Lol
Hrm. It's empty.
Is 1.0 mostly kept secret? What are the chances they add a new interactive crafting system, or stuff to flesh out biomes and cough cough mage stuff
Troll caves have a roughly 1 in 2 chance to have a troll outside and I wanna say about a 2/3 chance to have one inside?
I feel like I've encountered caves with 2 inside but the wiki says otherwise.
I'd say entire new system? Low. Flesh out other biomes? So far every major update has done this so I'd say high, and there will almost certainly be magic weapons from deep north, near 100%.
hey i am new and wants to play valheim with someone any one interested or perhaps any server suggestions
better not to expect alot or you'll be disappointed 😆
I mainly just want magic to be integrated better. Ifeel like its presence is really rigid and doesn't fit when its introduced
I mean I don't understand the mental gymnastics that we have not already gotton a ton of love for older bimes in newer updates
I didn't mean to say there hasn't been
ton? i think that's a stretch
I strongly doubt they will do anything about magic being awkardly added late game tho. I love the game and all and we don't need horses but I find it funny how the argument that they would need to rebalance the game around it exists when magic was added randomly late game. I mostly just hope they integrate it better early game
it should be available way earlier than mistlands, at that point i don't have interest to start training it anymore
exactly
i guess they didn't have anything else for mistlands update and just threw magic in the to have something, without thinking about it too much
thats how I kinda saw it
thank you RNGezus finally got a morgen trophy after killing every single morgen in the world
is it supposed to always rain at swamp?
Maybe I should finally sail south...
AFK'd my blood magic up to 25 today while working from home
But first, a dwarf genocide
Huh, today I learned there are purple spawners in the Ashlands that always spawn 2-stars
You found one of the pieces
elite spawners for the lord reto quest
Would honestly like to see his trophy drop be usable for crafting an upgraded version of the dead riser
OOooo, intersting, interesting :O
DIdn't know they were part of some sort of grand scheme (thank goodness the ashlands aren't too expansive)
It aint but dying is no fun especially in ashlands
Oh absolutely, especially with how impossible it is to do corpse runs if you don't have the means to reach an island you died at
And especially with how easily you (and therefore your resting place) can be mobbed
It's also why I wasn't above cheesing the first two Ashlands isles by building campfires to block spawns (except for valkyries and lava blobs, since those are generally out of range)
Got 'em, that camp had two 2* mages but I was able to enlist the help of a 1* seeker soldier
Interesting fight
When is this coming to ps5
maybe more next sunday
No dates announced yet, only that it will come during this year.
@heady laurel you still interested?.. I have a server set up for new players .. NEW character needed as well.
I spammed so many camp fires all over the ashlands XD
Does that even have any usefull effect?
Just kill wtv spawns
Preventing them from spawning has mediocre effects
Suppresses new spawns.
Not bullet proof as things have a far wander radius
Also the lava patches, things can spawn in there
But it is noticeable and helps
Well if it helps you than go for it
Yeah. Its far from an 'easy' button but it lets you have more breathing room between encounters in already explored areas.
Havent beat bonemass but got mountain right next to my base
Should i give it a look?
