Can outswim anything in swamp except wraiths (even leeches cant get ya), so if you're in a bad situation just hop in the ocean.

Same in Mistlands, except maybeeeeee Gjall can keep up with you? Anyways they do like no damage when you're in the ocean because the fire damage is nullified. And traversing around watery mistlands is much easier with the trinket

And it only takes 10 adrenaline to proc and lasts for 2 minutes, so that's usually not an issue

They do, but they slow down when they attack so they will end up missing you if you're actively swimming (at least with the trinket, tho I think even without it you'll swim fast enough to avoid the attack).

Plus after they fly out and attack, they then get stuck in the water and swim very slowly. Can't fly back out.

They're pretty free to use commands to spawn in stuff on their own world, then join your world with it, or even use player-specific mods to cheat. Valheim doesn't have anything to stop it as its meant to be played with trusted friends

I believe there is a mod that will ban people from joining your world if they've used commands/mods with that character tho

i'm doing the "sky farm" boar farm thing, and it worked for a little bit (the one where the boars eat "through the wall" and then drop the little piggies through the hole), but now it's been struggling. there is one of the two that is not eating and they alternated. using turnips but i dont think that's the issue (used them when it worked too). also tried giving them a bit more space (replacing the wall with a half wall, with a door and even with poles&beams. does anyone know how to fix it keeping the same design? especially the "little maintenance needed" part

that's the way feasts work. You place them using serving tray, and then you use it, instead of eating in your inventory

Feasts are nice food for when you work at your base, but won't use your best foods for stamina / HP.
They're balanced, so occasionally they may be useful when out exploring.
Their only disadvantage is that the higher tiers unlock after you defeat the boss from the biome, while having them before defeating that boss may be more useful. But that's a design choice made by the devs.

Mistlands and Ashlands feasts are great for mages though, I did HEF in the most dangerous parts of ashlands

they're balanced, but quite well. The first three give almost as much in stats as sausages, but degrade slower. Sailor's bounty, if used in swamp or mountains, is actually second best food in total stats-after serpent stew

TRue, but you won't be able to use the Mistlands Feast before defeating the Queen and the Ashlands Feast before defeating Fader.

While they would help the player a lot in the boss fights of those biomes.

Fire scares bears too, so if you hold a torch in your offhand while you fight a bear it pretty much won't fight back. Could get you some easy early armor and a great fist weapon

Your portals can take damage for a short period after you use them, but it's not exactly a problem in the meadows.

Just be sure to repair if it is attacked.

Have had it happen though that mobs attack while I teleport, and I’m invulnerable in teleport screen but my portal ends up getting borked. More in later biomes with strong mobs tho
