I also make a perimeter for tames, my first outer ring is for 2 star wolves, I have a pack of 15 or so roaming the outside of my base in a fenced in perimeter.

If it's not a strong enough raid, they won't even get by my first line of defenses, which is actually an even further ring of watchtowers, with 3 ballistas per tower.

To me the terrain wall/moat/trench is like using cheats. But-- I'm also biased and have written pathing mechanics for NPCs and have my own encounters with broken pathing.

Question about the dyrnwyn, I know only one spawns, but I've also heard you can change world modifier for item drop rates to get multiple.... Can I just turn this drop rate up claim the fragments then turn it back to normal, is that possible and easy to do? Also we are a group of 4 so even with the world modifier will it drop enough?

Go to a swamp with a surtling spawner and just run in tight circles around it, the fire kills them pretty quick and they don't run away from it if you stay very close

I love this game, i just got into plains and need flax so i went to village and the first thing i meet is 2 star sword fuling and i get my 200hp and full iron armor obliterated in 1 shot :> and get staggered even when parrying 💀

Use a raft and slowly skim the shorelines, mark large patches of fish as they tend to spawn in the same place.
Don't cast further than 3m, and position your boat directly above the schools of fish.
Try to only move using the rudder of the boat, as walking can spook the fish and make them move around.
Utilize your best 3 stamina foods just as a precaution for when you snag larger fish.

Cheap for how many servings they give, last a long time, give balanced stats

So pretty much saves you on ingredients by making many servings and lasting a long time, saves you on inventory space by not having to walk around with food because they last a long time, and the balanced stats allow you to do my favorite food setup H/H/F (2.5 health foods, 0.5 stamina foods)

@dim python @midnight roost @silk token Using commands will give you the cheater stat you can see when you put "/stats" in in game chat. However as far as i am aware other players don't have access to your stats unless you tell them or send them a screenshot of them. So far it also doesn't affect anything gameplay-wise however i imagine that will change once we get achievements at 1.0.

In my experience with games most achievements won't retroactively apply, but if you are at endgame getting most achievements like "Kill Elder" or "do 500 damage in one hit" or whatever are pretty easy to get

That said no idea how Valheim will work
