The ones at a specific tower or location have always stayed aggroed. The rest of them remain friendly. I've never had any stop being aggroed.

One thing I need to "test" is if any tower emptied out will respawn new dvergr. So far I always move in and put up my own spawn blocking. I know the random spots in which they die will respawn new dvergr.

I recommend building pure wooden houses on 1 meter stilts. This usually will avoid plants, uneven ground and wood branches from clipping through. It's how I usually build my first house.

Stone floor. But I don't like to raise it. I like to keep it as low as possible so that the walls start blue (Grounded), which means that stone floors need to be as low as possible.

If structures touch the ground, they're blue. I never had it that a dandelion would push through if I had stone floor on the ground, but then I put a 1 meter pole down first, and THEN align the stone floor to it. That makes it higher off the ground initially, so you should be fine.

And I also put a wooden floor on top of the stone floor, just because I like the astethic and wood is "warm".

I was wondering - my friends like to experiment a lot with new worlds, new builds, they nit always push it to explore all bioms up to ashlands.
Me on the otherhand - I play from time to time same map, same character for past 3 years - I explore new islands, I build new, better structures or update old ones with gaust. I also train my viking so he has skills ready for Deep North.
So am I and odd ball or all those are just common, but different approaches to the game?

But I also have other characters that I played on different worlds. None has come as far as my "main", though. It's just how I like to play the game.
@plush umbra Again, both approaches work. I play mainly solo, as it allows me to pace the game just like I want. I'm a slow player and I like to take it slowly. Others are more social and like to play with a group with all the hectic action this might bring. Whatever you like best, go for it.

Valheim is inherently a slow paced game.

Explore, forage, build, mine, raise livestock.

usual tactic is to hit them before they hit you

or just dodge roll from their attacks

rolling from their attacks would probably just send you into another wolf's attack if theres multiple

the second punch does double damage and should consistently stagger wolves. the kick will also be able to stagger them

You can always adjust some of the world modifiers to make your life a bit easier.

1. Set game level to "easy". That way nothing attacks you, unless you provoke (read: attack them first) them.
2. Set resource modifiers to 1,5 or 2x. That way you're getting the resources a lot faster, thus shortening the grind for new materials.

Both will buy you the time to get back to that area and eventually kill Moder.

Here's my advise to you:

1. Create a private game, enable console commands and spawn all required magic items at maximum Ashlands level.
2. Use dev commands to set all your magic skills to 100
3. Enter that server with your character, spawn a troll in their base and let it wreck the place.
4. While doing that, spawn the vines from the staff of the wild to wreck those players. You might want to put he protective bubble over yourself, just in case.
5. Once done, leave that server, remove the character and find yourself a server with people you can trust.

Also, please stop using caps.
It's considered as very impolite to do that in a conversation, as it's considered as "yelling" or "screaming."

Why risk a parry anymore when I can dodge much easier than it is to parry, regain stamina for dodging, and since a dodge already requires blocking, if you fail to dodge you'll take less damage since you're already blocking.

My main concern with the new dodging system is how insane knives and spears will be. If you get stamina back from dodging, along with adrenaline. Then you use an extremely fast weapon too. You'll be gaining an insane amount of adrenaline and probably stamina too if your dodge skill is levelled up.

I've been hearing a lot lately about game lag and instances, so I decided to check my palace stats. I have 25k+ instances in the heart of my biggest build, and no lag whatsoever, which according to a google search, shouldn't be possible. I am curious to know what other people's experiences are like with this. What are the instances like in your biggest builds, and do you have lag?

Swamps are a good place to learn a lesson that will carry into every biome that follows, don't be over confident, and focus on where to use your boss drops so you can progress your equipment so you aren't struggling with every encounter.

i think every biome is pretty balanced to be playable with food/gear from the previous biome, with some exceptions of large or 2 star mobs you need current biome to parry
