I currently have every resource that is not directly consumable in a row of chests that is about 1.5 black-metal chests per biome, food ingredients sorted by basically berries/honey, vegetables/spices, and meat, farmable items are in their own shack where i store the seeds, farming outfit and tools, because i do it in such bulk, a chest for meads, a chest for bog witch shit, the workbench and forge area are the same which i label "crafting" and the only chests i have there are for metal. 🗣️

Last I checked, parrying and blocking doesn't negate damage. You still take damage from doing it depending on what armor type you have. If you have lighter armor, you take more damage, albeit it's still reduced.

480 / 2 = 240
337.5 > 240 so we're using the second formula.

Dt = 57,600 / 337.5 = 170.66-

So if you could parry it, you're be negating ~309 damage with your shield alone before it went to your armor rating.

(Provided you had 100 block skill. If less, math changes)

I'd have to look, but I remember while doing the Ashlands update I came across a couple instances where it was actually more forgiving to not upgrade your shield because it kept you down in the more forgiving math bracket 😄

as it is, H&H set swords and axes apart by giving axes higher per-hit damage than swords to account for their (new) slower attack speed, starting with 35 vs 40 on level 1 bronze, that's about 15% more damage on the axe. and even with 15% more, their dps is still weaker.
fast forward to mistlands and we're at 148 total damage on mistwalker (133 without spirit) and 135 total damage on jotun bane level 4, not even taking into consideration that the 40 poison are gonna be much less than that in practice, even against enemies that aren't immune.
