Just different distribution platforms for Steam's catalog. Steam itself has a GUI and targets desktop gaming. It also has a convenient auto-update system for all installed software. It can be a bit bloated for running on a server, and it's common for servers to have no GPU+monitor.

SteamCMD has no GUI and targets server deployment. It has an extra feature of permitting anonymous/unauthenticated access to titles licensed for free distribution, like Valheim Dedicated Server should you be on a platform where logging into your Steam account is inconvenient.

Both have access to a Steam user's library of purchased or otherwise available software and the software will be the same installed by one or the other. It's just a matter of your use case.

In my experience, they're good in a combination for killing an enemy already immobilised by another jade weapon (the axes' low knockback and high recovery times aren't great for immobilising safely) but as a single weapon there is usually another that is better for the situation.

Once you get a jade weapon (I'd recommend the mace for the knockback which will keep you safe if immobilisation fails), keep hitting them with that until they're immobilised then kill them safely from behind.

Ran a 5 km parkrun at 9.30 in the morning, then had lunch, went to other place, and ran a half marathon 21,1 km. Feels great to be able to do it! Since I didn't walk at all. Fitness starts to pay off. I recommend it to everyone.

Hmm over two hours... around 2h 24 min. But I really took it easy. I could have run faster. Of course the 5k run few hours earlier made me probably little slower than I could have been.

The race had surprisingly steep hills at the end of it, which slowed down a lot.

Yeah I ate a lot too before the race. Also it started raining, wind got bad and we even had hailstorm. I also stopped at the "refueling" spots which most dont do. I took videos and photos which slowed me down. I was not there to do the best possible time, just ran for the experience. Still over 20 mins faster than last time I ran that race.
