Make it more crystalline. More square like and make them have straightlines but not be 45° at all times. You could have them at angles to recreate the random crystal structures

option 1:
whonk bases and player bases using the same tech (per planet)
this means all bases will use each planets respective palettes

option 2:
whonk bases have some tech on all planets carried over
this means it will have a bunch of random buildings using erekir base palette

option 3:
whonk bases made out of the same buildings regardless of planet
(unit factories and material factories will be different ofc but turrets and stuff will be the same)
this means all whonk buildings will be made out of erekir base palette

i know this is a fever dream of a poll and i do not know how to explain this any better

The original vision of the whonk palette. The fact I said I wanted to keep the old sprites and stuff. Me saying that having the palettes mixed to accommodate for the fact this is a versatile interplanetary force that can use a planets resources to benefit themselves
