#Reactors dont like pulling from Custom tanks

Does it do the same on a straight connection? I'm wondering if the splitters are playing any part in this.
even with a strait connection
ended up just removing the custom tanks all together because right now only normal tanks seem to be working right
I pumped O2 from a custom tank to a normal tank a couple of days ago, worked fine. Not exactly what you're doing, but...
its really weird how it was behaving
and the fact the reactors just refuse to accept water from a custom tank
idk im gonna try verifying files to see if it fixes any thing
Yep, I didn't ever encounter this exact problem with custom tanks either.
verifying files did not solve the problem
maybe my game is just bugged then odd
did you change anyhting ?
Try doing the same thing I did.
Yes 🙂
I piped the custom tank directly to the reactor and bypassed all your piping.
so Tank -> reactor no pump in the middle ?
that pump i was gonna use for the turbines never got to the point of connecting it
but that one worked ?
thats so odd
Yeah, from what I can tell it's sourcing the same liquid
ya its all one big tank
Yeah
the pump on the back side of the reactor was also connected directly to that same tank
starting to think it was just bugged on my end
Yup, that can happen, if you try to build the same thing from a blueprint it may fix it self
You can test run it in sandbox and if it works when you do it from BP there, there is a good possibility that it will work in adventure too
What's supposed to turn on pump CP1?
the script
used to have more then one pump thats why it as a number
What starts the script?
Can I ask you real quick, what are the dimensions of big steam turbine?
How much blocks does it occupy?
the pump turns on as soon as the temp gets to a certain point but i have just told it to always be on made no differance and i could hear it running
welp anyway thank you both for taking a look. im gonna assume something on my end was bugged and hope for the best next time i go to use a custom tank
No worries. FYI, I respawned the BP and replaced the router connection to that pump with a flip switch, turned it on and water flowed.
wonder if it was just the cable that was bugged the entire time. i have had it happen before were i remove a cable and the model never disappears. might of gotten bugged then
Or code execution or value not being what's expected. I also changed it from CP* tp CP1 and it turned on.
I have no idea, changed it back and it's still on... maybe I just ran the script for the first time. I've been ... away... lol
Yeah, ah well...
question should i just delete the post or wait for one of the devs to close it ? dont know what the protocol is for this
