not sure if the archean era had clouds, but if so, volumetric clouds would be awesome and would definitely add to the look of the game. for a more realistic feel, the clouds could have physics meaning a vehicle going through clouds would push the clouds away, or thrusters burning/propellers spinning would move clouds and so on

if the archean era didn't have clouds, perhaps add support for clouds so custom planets can utilize them

the same volumetric cloud tech could potentially be used for the rcs component particles if its not expensive performance-wise

probably not something to be added now, but would be a nice-to-have in the future
