Labels painted color darker than selected color

I used the same grey paint in the surrounding blocks and the label, and they used to match, now they dont. I would be nice if they did again :3

Fixed in the latest update.
For the label tool, a slight difference remains, but we are considering deprecating it to keep only the dashboard version.

Why the slight difference? Is it not possible to make the exact same? Its still pretty noticeable with certain colors, like the default red

And I feel like creating a dashboard just to create a label seems a bit much
I put labels on pretty much everything, to name things, to explain things, to keep track of which version Ive blueprinted
None of that uses any of the dashboard features, and having two layers would mess of up some of the times when i use it to visually cover stuff, same would go for the data port on a dashboard

Point is, I think the label on its own is important to keep

Especially if you can make it work on all surface directions like the dashboard :)
