#Unable to launch the game

I am trying to launch the game from steam. The game starts for a few seconds but then shuts down (The game won't open but I see the process running in task manager for 1 or 2 seconds). I am not getting any error message (not sure if there are logs somewhere that I can post). I tried to:

  • Reinstall the game
  • Verify the game integrity via steam
  • Restart my PC
  • Launch the game from the executable

Specs:

  • i7-9600k 3.6GHz
  • RTX 3080 12VRam
  • 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz
  • Windows 11

** Drivers are up to date (version 555.99)

I can't see a launcher nor the game itself so I will say nothing starts? I only see the Archean.exe process running for a few seconds in the task manager when I launch the game from steam or from the executable.

ok. This is a common issue with an easy fix.
Update your driver for the integrated gpu (intel or amd)

There was a bug in previous version of vulkan drivers (1.2) that will crash the app before it can even check if the driver supports vulkan 1.3, so before the app can even choose your nvidia RTX..

I don't believe I have an integrated GPU. I have the latest drivers installed for the RTX 3080 if that's what you mean ?
