Started the game for the very first time. Selected to start the Tutorial. Opened the Settings as suggested. Set the UI Scale to 2.0. Set the graphics to High, since I have a 3080Ti (MSI GE76 12UHS). Enabled VSync. Crash. (Total "play" time: 2 minutes)

Started the game again, started the toturial. The settings changes have been remembered. VSync is enabled already from the previous session. No crash this time. So this is something on enabling VSync.

I don’t think a 3080 is sufficient for high settings.

What FPS are you getting near water on those settings?

Just sayin, I have a 40 series and I run on medium most of the time. I can run on high but I get stutters occasionally
