#Performance Issues in Predecessor After Latest Patch (PC & PS5)

Since the most recent patch, Predecessor has been experiencing severe performance issues on both PC and PlayStation 5.

Although the game reports consistently high average FPS, there are frequent and noticeable frame drops lasting approximately 0.5–1 second. These micro-stutters occur regularly during gameplay and significantly disrupt overall performance. The issue is especially impactful during team fights, ability usage, or fast camera movements, where smooth responsiveness is critical.

The problem is not related to low baseline FPS. On both systems, frame rates remain high under normal conditions. However, these recurring short drops create a lag-like effect that makes the game feel unstable and, at times, nearly unplayable.

This issue appears consistently across different matches and is reproducible on both platforms (PC and PS5), suggesting it may be related to the recent update rather than isolated hardware or network problems.

A performance review of the latest patch—particularly regarding frame pacing, asset streaming, or memory handling—would be highly appreciated.

And it lags even in Draft... You can see it in the Character animation...

Yup I've mentioned it in my bug report - im Certain about hero respawn causing the micro stutter consistently meaning that whenever a hero Gets killed then when it respawns a global 0,5 SEC stutter occurs. It refers to any gamemode and every player. I've seen that in my game and on streams. Most of people arent even aware of this happening because theyre not sensitive to such Events but it happens for everyone. Fps counter drops by 5-10 fps but in reality the game Engine literally chokes and skips the frames.

I have been experiencing the same thing on PS5. Game is easily in the worst state, from a bug perspective, it has ever been in. It's going to take them months to fix these, if they can ever catch up.
