I pray you guys are fixing the matchmaking logic

If your getting matchmade with bronzes then your skill level is equivelant to bronzes.

Thats completely normal. Bad games happen go next. But next patch i think vp will play a bigger role in matchmaking

its insane that your RANK hasnt always been the sole determinant in matchmaking for ranked games.

hidden mmr should only apply in non ranked game modes.

and 1 game is one thing im now on a 12 game losing streak where i had a teammate look completely lost from the start of the game usualy the random bronze in my gold lobby

In a system without placements that would lead to matchmaking being so so so much worse

Anf even now hidden mmr is being used for your placements and your double rank ups, its just vp plays a much bigger role than before

thats how i got as far as i have, but the higher rank you get the harder it gets. the higher your rank the earlier people start to recognize when your going to roll your matchup and team roll your lane instead. I truly grow tired of this hard carry or lose gameplay.

I genuinely dont understand. If rank was 10 people of the same rank in a lobby wouldn't it just be a match of pure skill?

No because previously we didnt have placements and you had to grind you way up from bronze. Meaning a new/smurf account is bronze, if their skill level was that of a diamond for example, that diamond player would play against bronze and low rank players that are much worse than them for many games until they reach their correct rank. Mmr speeds up the process of getting people in games that their skill level reflects, meaning those instances of bronze/silver players in diamond very very likely because the bronze/silver player is good enough to be diamond, they just haven't played enough games for their vp to match their skill

These placements will give the player an mmr, then give them a vp similar to that after the placements

So it'll do a very similar thing but much faster, and look better on pred.gg lol
