people will always go afk
but they did just increase punishments for afk'ers literally today

I know they increased it today but I also had matches today where the same thing happened (once on my team, once on enemy team). Thus my thought on the need for transparency and more information on the matter, which I fear / feel remains unresolved.

I would suggest two things:

  1. Metrics, is the current system working? (e.g. statistics on repeat offenders, percentage of matches where AFK / trolling ruins match, info on whether the actual AFK bans have any results)
  2. Information on what is the internal developers' thinking is on this problem, and proposed or actual measures needed to implement (in future patches)
