Picking support as example there are heroes like Zarus, Rampage, Aurora and Kwang ( the flex supports i know ) who work fine as support even tho the game doesn’t give them that role. By locking Heroes to roles it removes variety like Onion said, It would also limit some players strategies or force them into a hero pool they don’t usually play because they can’t access such flex picks.

In ranked sometimes, you get players that aren’t ready for your elo, and they might try something that worked before, and fail, that doesnt justify limiting creative ways to play a role in ranked or quickplay, its just the player wasnt savy enough to try that creative idea against a played and tested traditional character with a played and tested build

Try and think in a more benevolent way with people who didnt mean harm with playing outside the box (unless they were intentionally throwing ) 🗿

i think we should not ban eden in ranked but i do agree toxicity is insane for new players game cannot grow if you a holes wont lock in and teach rather than bitch!

theres augments that literally support off roles. Its fine, and get punished really easy. Dont understand why people make such a fuss around it
