Last hit minions with your abilities.
Sev builds up slowly, but once he is stacked it, he hits hard
As above, you collect souls by getting last hit with abilities. Build items that increase health. Build will change based on Offlane or Jungle. 1v1 fights early is not recommend
Start with the siphon ability dude it has a slower cooldown so you can time getting that last hit with an ability
The amount of souls collected is located center-left
Fun, peak Sev move is ult enemy into your tower, root them with Dark Miasma ability, and punish
One of the best tips I can give is use the dash augment, means if you rotate to a fight, you can still build stacks and ur ult resets said dash, the execute augment is kinda bait imo as you rarely execute minions with it. Once you are good at farming without it you can be a lot of stacks ahead of where you should be. 16 minute 160s are not rare
You last hit with siphon that's what gives stacks I use titan Crest and go saphirs mantle for permanent health stacks aswell I also build items differently depending on who the enemy team has so I always go eather tainted bastion or stonewall for damage mitigation and I like to pair up fire blossom and world breaker because world breaker increases all magic damage applied witch includes from items abilitys and passives
Always try to prioritise getting last hits even if you cannot get them with your abilities.
The faster you get your items the better you’ll farm and so potentially get more souls or even more kill potential
Against a magical opponents like Aurora or Kwang I’d recommend going Catalytic Drive and giving them wave prio until you get fireblossom or Fist of Rizz.
Wave prio is basically where the enemy will just clear faster than you, meaning the minions will crash at tower or simply kill you in the 1-3 levels forcing you to play back.
For example Aurora level 1 will just run at you, auto attack you and you will die because she has that ice storm passive
How is it execute aug bait? That augment is great at securing objectives and camps not to mention kills also there's no reason to calling it bait.
Should have specified i meant in offlane, in jungle its great but I find it very bad in offlane
I will also jump onto this thread for a couple of questions I have as a returning player:
- How do I tell when an enemy is under 6% hp/will die to my Q? There is a "triangle" that is red when jungling, but I was baited and that apparently isn't for that execute.
- Is the 6% execute AFTER the damage of the Q, or is it checked before the damage happens?
- Is there a way to tell the specific HP of an enemy? (for minions for example where the 6% doesn't really come into play)
- What are the biggest build changes from offlane to JG? I have decent offlane builds but am fumbling around for jungle
- When jungling especially I keep having minions die to my passive burn effects, do I just never use Q when jungling and whittle things down orrrrr?
- You cant. The triangle when jungling is for Hunt. When the triangle turns red when that monster has less than 500 health remaining, meaning using Hunt will execute it.
- Yes. If taking damage from Siphon would leave the enemy will less than 6% of its max health it is instead immediately executed.
- No.
- I don't play Sev in offlane so idk.
- Kills with any of your abilities grant souls. If Siphon is on cooldown use a different one.
All of Sevs active abilities grant stacks if they do the last hit dmg
Now he does he didnt do that before
Nah it’s always been all abilities grant stacks since release (and hunt active also grants stacks too)
Found that out recently. Makes life much easier.
Not always he originally could only stack with getting last hits with his siphon ability
When? It’s literally been every damaging ability since I started playing in December 2022
During the early access alpha phase I guess I never look at his passive when they changed it I've always known it to only stack off of siphon
It might have been the case of it said something different in the main menu like for example some skills say something different or add flavor texts when you view them in game
(Overprime used to be ONLY siphon for some reason, however in pred it has always been all his abilities)
Because Paragon was only siphon.
In early access and alpha? OK Sure, but I was meaning like since the released game XD
I was just pointing out that yeah he may be been confusing it with Overprime
