So im coming from paragon back in the day, so i know some of the roster generally. But im not sure about the new characters, or current balance. Ive got twinblast, murdock,sparrow, and kira unlocked but im not sure who to prioritize unlocking next. Or in what order. Wraith and grim were both fun ones back in paragon, as was revenant. Any advice on an order to try to unlock these folks along with the newer predecessor specific heroes?

Grim is best to unlock right now, wraith tends to get balanced toward mid so if you are planning to play adc role I would pick him up later. Skylar is a good one to learn once you have the basics of pred down. After that it's kind of up to you as you will have all your bases covered for drafting once you get grim and skylar

Personally I would pay attention to the free rotations and try to play those heroes to see how much you enjoy them before committing to purchasing anyone.
Eden is a very mechanically complex character. I would not suggest buying her if you're not already very familiar with the game.

Eden literally breaks several of the game's own rules. So you should know the game well first so you understand exactly what rules it is she's breaking and how to play and build around those discrepancies.
