It makes balancing with variable basic ratios not a possibility as it makes the item reduce different per hero

Also a little more context so the post doesn't get deleted pls but imo the item needs heavy changes cause it's just better on mages since their ratios are 55% vs adcs 80-90% meaning they get less of a reduction.

Plus mages attack speed builds revolve around on-hits which are not reduced but balanced to allow for good damage on basics since they don't have good ratios on basics

it can be balanced, but the on hits NEED to be reduced to compensate

it can still be an on hit buffing item, e.g make it give overall more on hit damage per second at the expense of auto damage

One is bigger loss then the other especially since on builds the stat that they are losing while the other doesnt

35% of 100 is the same whether they got to 100 from 55% scaling or 80%

they get 40% increase speed and an extra attack per second
so the flat dps only gets reduced by 9%
but on hits get increase by a lot

so an on hit build for adc would work but normal crit would be worse

The item is fun but there are better options to introduce an item like that look at rage blade from league

Mages have more inherent utility, like Belica and Zinx, especially with their own passives

So, they make especially good use of CR

Muriel's utility also makes her a bit of a menace

I think the bigger problem is that it makes on-hits too powerful without really making the mages suffer

They don't exactly lose out too much on ability power

But also, the increased AS with Ashbringer means they get to use their utility quite a lot more often

Belica kinda doesn't care about her abilities doing damage if she can just autospam to death and knocking up often

Suppose same applies to Zinx too

Although I believe Belica's knockup is a much lower cooldown and stuns for more at max

The problem is prophecy was a strong item with no support from other items now it has insanely strong support while being a good item

And cursed ring is the biggest problem

I had a game where I was fighting a zinx and she was doing the attack speed build and I just kept face tanking her and killing her I even got a message after the game asking why I was targeting her its really easy if she is stunned she cant attack and she is a squish I was also using mitigation items so I was alot more tanky

Cc kills every character. Which is why it's the absolute worst metric of 'is it broken'

And I just use simple solutions I dont need complicated ones most characters have stuns or slows just use team play and focus on the annoying ones and you will be fine

I would like a stacking bleed item but not on a tainted item. That's either too much value or the bleed is too weak to have an effect

But that doesn't help your case
