Mutilator, the most confusing item

I tested rampage with mutilator vs another 40 phys power item on in practice and I’m not seeing and damage values from Mutilors ability hit proc.

Every ability hit should hit for 2.5% of max hp according to item

Specifically the ground slam, Rumble, shows the same damage value ignoring the ability hit proc

Both items just hit a flat number. I’d understand if this was a dot but it’s clearly an ability hit. I can see the values on the rock and the leap, just not slam

It must be something with the double hit as it doesn’t apply to Boris chrono swipe either in my testing

I’m not expecting it to apply to each damage instance, just the ability in general

It does apply to Terra’s double hit however

They nerfed it on him because of his rumbling augment I was so sad I finally found a way to fight back with him I just go infernum now

Muti was kinda crazy on Rumble Ramp and Feng Mao. Good riddance. Those interactions won’t be missed

Yea but if they nefed the item for just those characters they need to re work the item or the augments to make it fair because its bs

So you know how rumbling has no cooldown so you hold the ability button and just smash the ground well they made it so the item wouldn't proc every hit

Right. That isn’t nerfing the item. That’s removing the unhealthy interaction that that ability has with the item

Feng hamstring with mutilator could proc multiple times too

Yea then change eather to item or the augments because I think its dirty the basically nerfed it for that when most characters are op

They nerfed how it works on two abilities because it was too strong for those specific abilities

If an item ses on ability hits do 2.5 of there health and my ability has no cooldown every hit should do 2.5 of the health

You’re telling me that you want an ability that hits 3 times to proc the 2.5% damage for each hit? For 7.5% damage off of one ability? That doesn’t sound unhealthy to you?

Not the way some people play I wanted a fighting chance I haven't been able to figure out my way to play rampage since pred came out I finally find a playstyle that allows me to fight back and then they take it away

It technically only procs once he hits twice sure but it's still one cast of an ability

Yea but grab the mutilator and go spam it on the training dummy and just go ham his health will bearly move

As far as I can tell it doesn't work anymore on his rumbling so theve basically made it useless so I've found a new build now that's even more broken
