Iggy and Scorch turrets are too OP it's ridiculous and it should be a penalty or something for picking heroes in the wrong roll you can't beat Iggy and Scorch in Offlane with melee heroes it takes the fun out of the game with heroes like him nerf him or give us better Magical Armor items for heroes like Iggy and scorch the Magical Armor items now are no good we need more and better ones give us Magical Armor items similar to Fire Blossom and Tainted Guard the only truly good magical armor item is Void Helm and that's only one good Magical Armor Itembout of so many Magical Damage and Penetration items it's unbalanced by a landslide

I feel this way at times, I don't know if I want to completely prevent off role picks.
I do agree that there needs to be an adjustment to tank items in this game. It feels like tanks get countered by DPS taking 1 item. It feels bad that all my items are negated by DPS grabbing 1 slightly less efficient DPS item.
For your problem with off Meta picks here are some things that have worked for me.
1 - You need to play for just getting XP and passive gold. If you have a character with a ranged ability use it to last hit. Once you get some more items and survivability you will win the match ups.
2 - Try to pick heroes with good mobility. Close the gap on these ranged offlane picks, for Iggy try to fight him outside his turrets or kill them first. For Murdock's if you only have one movement ability try to avoid the traps and tease out the shotgun then run up on them. Again this requires you to have followed step 1 and slow played to get your durability and abilities up.
3 - This one is tricky as it seems most people are not using comms and selfish bots sticking to their lanes. However if you have people in comms setup ganks. Iggy has no mobility so he is easy to CC and burst down. This won't always work but I've found by playing less aggressive and allowing my tier 1 to fall if necessary without feeding kills I can dominate late game against these off Meta picks.
Also play around abilities wait for them to cast stuff then engage most of these off Meta picks are mages and without abilities they lose a trade. You may need to just go in and out depending on your pick.
All of that isn't to say that there may need to be some better balancing or be little your struggle but give you some ideas while we all wait and hope for better match ups that make the game feel fair and not one-sided.
Iggy and Scortch shouldn't be nerfed. Why do so many players have this stupid urge to nerf everyone they find difficult to play against? Turrets are incredibly weak in terms of health. Once he's nerfed, he'll immediately go from a decent hero to a useless piece of crap, just like he's been throughout Paragon. I understand the urge to ignore the abilities of the hero you're facing.
But in reality, Iggy and Scortch needs a complete rework, not a nerf. He simply has a really dumb design that Epic couldn't fix.
Something needs to be done about the Magical Armor items Or Iggy and Scorch or both and it doesn't matter how much health they have he can literally keep throwing new ones out if you have the right Items and Augment by the time you destroy one half your health is gone by time you get to the third one he throws another one out and boom your dead have you even played Predecessor a lot lately or at all sounds like you are going off of Paragon get it together play more Predecessor against Iggy in the Offlane with a melee character and come back and talk to me and let me kno how it went
That's what I'm talking about. You just really want to ignore the hero's abilities. Just fight stupidly. Brute force and wall-to-wall. And you want more armor, too. So that no one can penetrate your armor while you crush everyone in the style of Grux. Under these conditions, you will lose.
As long as you only care about your experience with the game and don't think it's important to focus on reworking the hero rather than just nerfing him, I don't think your idea is worth supporting.
Rework nerf more armor something needs to be done all I'm saying and it's plenty of Penetration to cut thru all the armor in the game even if they add more armor it will still be plenty of Penetration and damage items to cut thru armor
You should be able to counter build. Crystalline cuirass should be the counter to Iggy, but it isn’t because armor as a stat sucks

Honestly imo mana should drain from turret fire with option to destroy turrets, that way he could use them as an actual ability that he has to manage. Each shot could be like 2 or 3 mana or so, so it would ramp up to 6 or 9 per volley when he throws 3 down. Still has the same ability of area denial but just not free
Yes, I also think turrets should be controllable. Turn on/off, for example. Damage could also be increased while simultaneously reducing the number of turrets to two. I also think the mechanism for focusing enemy heroes with turrets should be easier to control, for example, with a lock-on ability. I would also make the turrets indestructible, but taking into account that the general mechanics of using and controlling the turrets will be reworked.
Overall, Iggy and Scorch could be made more enjoyable to control and more understandable for opponents.
Indestructible sounds like a bad idea. Think current system for hitting players is fine imo. Just think they are too free for auto damage and area denial. That's his problem imo. He never has mana issues as a mage
Mages should have mana management, not afk denial a whole lane for free
I feel like iggy needs a slight nerf, mainly to his turrets. I think the fix is to reduce the radius on the turrets, make them not be able to target towers, and have them do reduced damage to objectives like fang and orb. They should also make his turrets target on ability hit instead of basic attack hit. there should also be a small cooldown between placing, similar to kallari throwing her daggers. However, with reducing the radius on his turrets they should bump the health and damage on the turrets up some to compensate. This would let you position yourself where youre only being hit by 1 or 2 turrets instead of 3 or 4.
Oh, and turrets shouldnt reveal a stealthed hero like kallari. its kinda ridiculous that they do.
JUSTIFICATIONS:
No Damage to Towers - No character should have an ability that can damage towers. This goes for skylars hypercharge as well.
Reduced dmg to objectives - The turrets are constant damage output as opposed to spaced out due to a cooldown like most abilities. Reducing the turrets damage output on objectives compensates for this difference, bringing iggys damage to objectives more in line with other mages.
Reduced range - The turrets need to do damage in order to allow iggy to push lane or use them for defense, but currently his turrets hit the full basic attack range of any ranged character. with the range that turrets currently have, melee cahracters are likely to be hit by at least 2 if not 3 turrets while targetting the first one. reducing the range allows melee characters to counterplay the iggy turrets better, and requiring the iggy to be more thoughtful with the placement of his turrets.
Not revealing stealthed enemies - This should be obvious. Turrets arent wards and should not act like they are. A stealth kallari should be able to walk past a turret without being targetted by it.
Ability instead of basic - This is better synergy with the rest of iggys kit all being area damage, and would make more sense than a basic attack.
Iggy is a positional hero. His turrets can't be moved. If you suggest a nerf, offer a buff he'll get in return.
Furthermore, if Iggy has four turrets deployed at once and is just waiting for someone to come, that's a stupid Iggy.
