Yes. Always let carry last hit
You should still be picking support crest so you get the increased passive gold

Regardless of who you're playing a support should not be securing kills. Your crest will supply you with gold, and will infact punish you for getting too many kills. If your support is being too aggressive stop and check which crest they're using. Some people get upset they didn't get the role they wanted and just decide play that role regardless of what lane they end up in.
