#Serious issue with voice chat auto-bans – urgent need for human moderation

I want to report a critical issue with the current voice chat moderation system: right now, if 5 players in a premade group submit fake reports, the system automatically issues a voice ban – even if the reported player did nothing wrong. This is exactly what happened to me: I was unfairly banned from voice chat due to a coordinated abuse of the report system.

This setup is highly exploitable and creates a frustrating experience for honest players. What’s even more concerning is that no human moderator reviews these cases, and the Support section often takes more than 30 days to respond – if it responds at all. This lack of oversight damages both the game experience and the community’s trust in the developers.

I kindly urge the developers to urgently review the current automated moderation system and implement human review for multiple report cases to prevent false bans. An automated system without oversight is a form of negligence that risks driving away the most dedicated players.

They „had“ that once and since they didn’t check any reports manually despite saying so basically no one was ever banned no matter what he or she did. IMO it’s a complete joke that they AGAIN switched back to only giving out voice bans instead of full bans. No one gives a f, if an afk or feeding troll can’t use the chat anymore.

But anyways yes if you’re so unlucky to be in a four people squad that only report you cause you didn’t meet their expectations a ban can be very frustrating. Still first of all there can be an automated ban system that considers that so I wouldn’t change back to only manual since no big game has this and secondly it’s way better then no one getting banned at all, cause the probability of that happening is still low. And if you’re not toxic in other matches the ban shouldn’t be too long

I already submitted the request for a review immediately, the ban ends tomorrow. As usual, support is either nonexistent or replies with copy-paste messages when it’s already too late. I'm sorry, I'm sure you're a good person, but I have completely lost trust in you and the developers of this game. I'm sorry.

And the developers also have the right to reply. If it wasn’t up for discussion there wouldn’t be a comment section.

Ace has kindly offered to look and remove your ban. Regardless of if it ends tomorrow or not there’s not a reason to be rude about it.

I can understand you’re frustrated but taking it out on the devs isn’t going to help anyone

Dear Omeda Studios team,

I am writing to formally report a ban I consider to be unfair and arbitrary. My account was suspended from Predecessor for 72 hours following a discussion that took place on the official Discord server, regarding the abuse of group reports and suspected automated bans.

I would like to point out that I did not use voice or text chat in-game, and I did not violate any rules or Terms of Service during gameplay. This disciplinary action appears to be a consequence of having expressed an opinion, respectfully, on Discord.

Please understand that I do not hate your team, and I truly don’t understand why I’m being treated with such hostility. My intent was never to offend or cause problems, but simply to highlight a concern affecting the player experience.

As a paying user who purchased the Early Access version, along with paid skins and a game pass, I consider this ban to be a breach of the user agreement and an abuse of moderator privileges.

I therefore formally request:

a clear and documented explanation of the ban;

its immediate removal, as it is unjustified;

or alternatively, a full refund of all my purchases (game, skins, and battle pass), as per the consumer protection laws in force in the European Union.

If I do not receive a proper response within 7 days, I reserve the right to escalate this matter through the platform where I purchased the game (Epic Games Store) and via the appropriate consumer protection channels.

Awaiting your reply,.....this is a legal form if someone enter in circle of hell like me for this problem.

and i repeat to be clear, in last games i can't talk and can't writhe because u no want i comunicate with my teammates, i win match and no feed despite my support pick belica with mage crest and literally stolen all my farm, at end i reply to u in this post(very polite because i absolutely not insult u like onion say), and BAM, i get banned for 72 hours. 😄

Just to clarify before I leave the discussion:
I never intended to create drama or attack anyone. I simply pointed out an issue I personally experienced, and I stand by what I said.
I respect the developers' work and the community, even if I no longer agree with how some things are being handled.
I’ll step away from the topic now to avoid further escalation, but I’ll continue to explore other channels to make my concerns heard.
