Trying to get into the game. Watching pinzo and soulreaper is really fun. However I can only translate some of what they do in my own game. I am only level 10 and bounced on and off the game. I

I actually want to get good at the game but all the learning info seems really spread out. Goin in game and trying to learn it just gets me yelled at, we lose or someone carries and we win and i dont understand if i did anything right or wrong.

Any tips on making my journey better or things i can read or watch. Id rather not waste time jumping around information that i already know or watch videos that no longer work in the current meta.

I would at least watch the 5 videos that each spotlight a particular role. It’s a year and a half old so some stuff has changed but the fundamentals have not

There isn't much in terms of educational content by current streamers. IF you don't already understand what they are doing it's going to be difficult to decipher which plays were good/game winning. Or how they set them up

Well pinzo is like “im gonna slow push and he has to respect them” and im just like “huh?” XD Or something similar. I assume its just LOTS of videos

If you want ot get better I recommend trying to play 3 games in a session, and focus on 1 or 2 things you want to get better at. Eventually you will start doing them without thinking. 1) setting wards, 2)tracking enemy jungler 3) showing up to objectives 4) timing backs with seige minion waves 5) farming.....there are tons of things to work on. The mugiwawa vidoes that nicks nads shared with you are a great starting point. In fact, mugi probably has be best content for learning the game.

Dont worry about getting flamed, it will happen at every ELO no matter what

I feel like ill have a lot of fun with this game. Ive watch some videos already. Like rotating, how minions work and what your approach should be in the beginning. Had no clue about mugi. I will go watch his stuff

One thing that you can do is picture how you wanna handle decisions
For example in jungle
Can I gank this guy?
Will I benefit from this?
Is it worth it?
You can do the same thing on every misplay too
What can I do better?
How could I’ve handed the situation better?
It may sound stupid but it can help you a lot. It did help me

Build whatever sounds cheesy, rinse and repeat till you find the “keys” that work for you.
It’s also a Brawler MOBA, so PvP is rewarded just as much as your ability to freeze the wave!

Yeah, but by freestyling you get to learn the items and know which ones are heavy-hitters that you can swap in frequently

@waxen pecan Hasn't been said, but if you are still really looking to learn more, look up LoL guides on youtube. A lot of core League concepts can be brought over to Pred. Some concepts need to be fine tuned to Pred, but there is a layer of fundamentals you can build up by watching LoL guides.
Lane management is 100% the place to start. Doesn't matter what role you play or want to play, lane management is an absolute priority to master

i came from league and the fundamentals transfer over super well

half the characters are just reskinned league champs and same with items

half the items are just reskinned versions of league items
