personally i like the timing
but the same characters are aproblem
just bad baance team again and again
i feel like serath is a lot weaker, the Q cooldown change was big
I honestly doubt it
Augments have done irreparable damage to the balance of this game, alongside global xp/gold changes. The questionable balance changes only add to that
then they can leave Nitro for you. this game really needs a pacing change theres no strategy to anyting and your constantly fighting after 5-7 min max.
that is the strat
perfect game with what we been shown right now is
Brawl
Nitro
New Map slower pacing mode
they can have a ranked for both Nitro and the new map if the population is there I dont think people would be upset by it tbh
Well legacy is coming so that might be the new map we been waiting for?
or just a nostalgia trip 🤔
Either way am playing that and trying to get my old buddies that played to join me 🙌
Im wondering if the Agora sized map is mainly being used as a test to see how big the new map needs to be.
It's been years so I may be misremembering but I feel like Agora was atleast 25% bigger than monolith. In any case, the jungle felt very jungly and cool in the Agora map.
If I remember correctly Paragon's Monolith was a 30% smaller than Legacy
But I think that Predecessor's Monolith is even smaller than Paragon's one, at least that is the impression it gives to me while looking at old Paragon's Monolith gameplays
I can't see them making it only to temporarily use it unless final versions slightly modified that's a lot of man power to remake it
Nah preds map is currently bigger then monolith I think speed might just be turned up so much that it feels small or the same.
I don't know, if you go to old videos and look at the jungle of the 2 different versions of Monolith (or were there 3?) you will see the jungle to look massively bigger, the epic monsters pits also looks bigger and the lanes also looks wider and with more space to fight
It feels like if our characters were smaller (which is the same that if the map is bigger)
Good, she was literally broken
Still number 1 hero i ban in ranked
most of the top junglers dont think shes ban worthy anymore tho
might just take people some time to realise
Its not that she is broken,
i just hate that woman
I hate the Q, way too much range, a lockon, invulnerability and gets to chase people even if they blink and use movement abilities?
terrible design
all i will say
The only counterplay to it is literally "wait it out"
reduced range would do it for me, atleast seraths would have to position themselfs to hit the Q or use their other movement abilities to do so
Her old Q was more balanced because she had to time it better, and she remained in the same spot while casting it
Exactly
She has way too much chase and even a slow to really have the Master Yi version of her Q
now her q is a braindead Lockon Dash with immunity
Master Yi is balanced that he can't really dash at you, or slow you, unless he itemized it
Serath, can ascend (extra dodge) and dash at you
And can slow you if you attempt to run
There's no way she can remain balanced like this
And she doesnt have to use her ascend to get close to you
since her Q has enough range
she doesnt have to aim
and if thats not enough her ult gives her movement speed
And she gets CDR from takedowns
If I wanted to climb, I'd genuinely spam Serath
literally worst hero design in the game
Wukong is broken, but his kit is atleast reasonable
I have no idea why they made it a literal copy of Master Yi's
Seraths kit is just bad
It's the 1 ability that makes her horrible to play against
Idk i just feel like it needs to be a hard sacrifice on dps compared to autoing
Make it a simple "Parry" and that's it
Not an untargetable+dash+kphjillion attacks
I been saying it
That hero has to much going for her also her damage is stupid given she can enter people's body like that while being giga mobile also passive giving ult everytime just sooooo stupid. Its never going to be balanced
Add to that they gave her a stupid stun
WHY
Just why
Original Serath design was more fair and well rounded. Having a master Yi with a long dash, AOE slow and now AOE stun is not good for any game
people hate master Yi in League too
very controversial hero. ya can be countered but thats because he has some form of limit. Serath is lacking the limit
Q being able to crit was kinda wild though, even if it locked you in place, not to mention, using it on a minion wave gave you invulerability for a good chunk of time
not ot mention I think it scaled with ad better
imo Yi's i better, and I don't think it's close, there just more lock on cc in league
Yi has true damage, with a passive that makes on hit items busted af
I think with the changes to her Q, serath will go back to building bruiser, without access to her Q nonstop she will no longer find as much success building glass cannon
But the Q only hit 1 time, it was basically 1 single basic attack to an enemy
And the invulnerability had a fixed time in a fixed position, if you hit a big wave of minions you were going to be in the same spot for a long time, which made you vulnerable for the enemy to prepare and get you when the ability ended, which also gave a layer of complexity, you had to decide how many minions you need to get in your AOE Q, defending if you wanted to stay a lot of time on invulnerability, or you wanted to end the ability as fast as possible
That was way cooler to manage and play around than just pressing 1 button and letting the game hit everything for you while moving you to the enemy position while invulnerable
Original Serath had an ult that gave weakness to the enemies, which is part of what made Serath to be able to stand and fight for long periods of that, it was that, plus the life steal of which she got a lot of profits thanks to her Q being a lot of single target basic attacks
This is something I have yet to understand.
Why were arguments added or even worked on?
They should fix the regular balance of the game with the systems they have right now (Items, Hero Stats and Crests) and not add even more things to balance that will take more time to balance....
Also, even if it is not the topic of this thread, why are they working on arguments when there are things like a proper practice mode and a deck building system missing from the game?
This is like the worst investment of time they could've done.
No idea if others were expecting or even wanting arguments, but to me they came as a total surprise.
