I just think we shouldn't pretend like plenty of companies still don't make money off of pride. Its not an automatic failure. It's been a thing for a while now. There's always been some minority upset about it; However, the recent uproar about it has gotten to an absolutely ridiculous degree that some of these points just don't even make sense.

I think events with a shared theme are cool and it gives something for people to look forward to.

For instance, halloween skins. People might enjoy the thematic of halloween and look forward to the event and the content drop for it every year.

Same can be done with pride. A yearly thing that people wait for every year for the content

Content is content, and if you dont like it, you dont have to interact with it really. I may not be the biggest fan of a Valentines event. I think you should show your love and appreciation for the people around you (especially your SO) every day of the week. But I won't advocate against a valentines event because at the end of the day it celebrates something positive and I know many people that would love to partake and purchase themed content

alright in all seriousness, what the game should do, is have a large catalogue of shapes, primitive & complex, like how call of duty used to do it where you basically customise your entire profile icon and banner using the shapes. it also made a cool way to progress and unlock shapes n stuff. like you get squares, stars, bars, and you layer them with any colour of the rainbow. and ultimately, you make whatever you want. that way, anyone can express their profile and it actually uses some design and creativity.

this, benefits everyone. including pride homies. you make the pride flag with bar shapes. easy. straight white male can make whatever they want.

'but silly shiba, you fool, people will use it to create offensive gestures and what not' and that is why we have moderation and anyone with an offensivwe profile gets the classic banny mcbannable ban ban.

well. it shouldn't be difficult to review a swastika. would get reported by people in a matter of minutes, then all a mod needs to do is look at it and see the swastika. then ban. a glance at it is all that's needed.

if you are talking about the turn around for moderation to take affect then that's a problem in itself. i don't know.

This was about the reaction times on reports and tickets from Omedas side. Of course it's a clear case but how its going right now it just takes too long until they look at it.

Unfortunately the game team (and frankly everyone at Omeda right now) has been working super hard on 1.6 and all the content in it and coming out in 1.7 and beyond.

While I'm not here to shut down the topic (I'm super queer myself) I do feel responsible to share that we probably won't get to anything major this year, just while we focus on making Pred the very best it can be. Put simply we don't have the resources at this stage of our company's journey, even for something simple like a banner as it still has knock on effects.

I hope you'll look at this week's update and understand why we made this decision, but I also understand that it might not be the decision some people wanted.

Rest assured, there's a large number of L, G, B, T & Q+ people working on this game and we're all excited to add this type of content when the time is right and in a way that doesn't feel like corporate rainbow-washing because we're not about that here. We want our game to represent our players and importantly we want our company to have strong values that you can see in everything we do. We value every type of player under the rainbow (and of course all the players beyond the rainbow) and when we have the capacity, resources and time to demonstrate that in a thoughtful way, you bet your booties we will.

Hopefully that'll come next year, but until then I'm loving reading ideas and examples of things we could do, so please do continue to share your amazing pride ideas and hopefully as our journey continues you'll see some of them in game soon!

At the end of the day at this point in time and at this stage of the game they should be focusing on what is selling the most. Right now at the State of the game, it's pretty hard to say honestly that the game is actually complete because it's not, so they should focus resources on what has sell the most if that's hot chicks and demons? Well, they should.
