Feedback: Battlepass Improvements

Having a Battlepass with items for only one hero is disappointing. I hope that in the future we can have a BP that includes a main high tier skin + a handful of low tier skins for other heroes

Overall I find the BP is lackluster, icons are just a zoomed in version of the banner and I personally would like more fun banners, icons, emotes. The overhead emotes are cute!

I know myself and others tend to play to work towards a battlepass and this can sometimes be the deciding factor on which game I'm putting time into that month so the rewards in a battlepass are important

I do appreciate that we can get more amber especially as there are more things we can use it on like the new base skin recolours although I personally think that all base skin recolours should be purchasable with amber

Yeah it's honestly crazy how they said they heard our feedback on the winterfest pass then did the same thing, putting only one hero skin in the pass. I get the cores are supposed to compensate I guess? But this battlepass only has one skin exclusive to the battlepass

If the battlepass theme is shadow ops, all the shadow ops skins should have been included in it

It's better than the winterfest pass that is for sure, but I feel like Omeda continously misses the mark needlessly, there are plenty of examples on how to make a good battlepass that makes people excited to buy them with its contents - the quantum cores I believe are supposed to give rewards to various heroes to make the pass appeal to all people but some players may not see that & understand it at face value. People love themes and exclusive skin rewards to the bp and the track only has one skin.

The loot cores drop skins form other heroes, its designed that way. You also get Amber which you can use to purchase recolours of skins so you have the choice of what you want

I can get behind that, it's a unique approach to try and give more rewards for all heroes in the pass. However, the BP only has 1 guaranteed skin, while the cores could be duplicates and net someone with a lot of skins less rewards. The loot cores are awesome but I think a more balanced approach with a typical 3-5 bp exclusive skins may be more appealing to the average consumer

Loot cores are an amazing addition though. Can't say the pass doesn't offer much cause you can get a nice handful of skins for various heroes, potentially legendary ones too. There's good value there. It just appears empty within it's track apart from the cores

Yeah this is how I feel, it seems to be a split on people's views for the BP but I personally prefer having set skins to look forward to. Unfortunately myself and my husband wouldn't purchase a BP just to get loot cores and hope that I get a skin for a character we like not to mention there's still the chance of not even getting any skins in them (I got all amber + an icon in my free 6) I love the addition of loot cores and would still want them in the battlepass but enjoy working towards skins, emotes, unique banners for characters etc.

I do appreciate having the amber to get recolours but again this is only one recolour per character & the second base recolour is locked behind plat. When comparing the how you earn cosmetics + other BP in this game to others, I personally don't feel it's as rewarding

Exactly, well said. And as you mentioned, you could just get terrible rewards from the cores. So you can pay 1K plat and hardly get much value and someone else could.

Compared to other passes it does fall short despite the value potential, and consistent guaranteed rewards are more fun cause you know what you’re paying for and look towards it. If the other shadow ops skins were in the pass for example it would nearly be perfect
