I'm still fairly new but when I tried carry I just can't aim for the life of me

Make sure mouse acceleration is turned off in your windows settings before practicing anything!

Same dude, I practiced every role already, but carry is still a struggle to me. Although I must say after I played Zinx for awhile as a support I got a bit better at auto poking, so maybe try that as well?

#

I mean it doesn't have to be Zinx, any ranged support, could be Dekker or Phase, kinda killing two targets with 1 shot practice support and auto attack aiming đź‘€ Good luck!

Play rev, it will force you to get better at aiming.

#

Then again as adc just stack atyack speed and crit chance and usally that does pretty well

#

Power should comes with most items that give you those

#

Faster attack rate means more likely to hit something. Keep at it and dont get disheartened.

Lower mouse sensitivity. It will feel weird at first but after a few games you will be a lot more precise!

To reinforce this again, earlier I said OP needs to make sure that mouse acceleration or whatever it’s called on their version of windows is turned off, otherwise muscle memory is really just not going to develop.

What’s important is that your 180turn is based off a distance that you prefer. And is relatively consistent within every aim based game you play.
So, I’d say get your hard locked settings correct and then adjust each in game sense of what you play say that you can turn 180 in say, 20 cm Once that is set on every game you

Ofc it is up to personal preference, which should be decided after getting a quality mouse, a large mouse pad/desk space, and becoming conscious about improved grip.

Brawl is a great way to improve your aim
A) you’re against real people, not ai
B) it’s fast
C) you can also improve reactions due to the chaos there is

All characters start with different total stats in ATK Speed. It's a good idea to pick 1-2 characters that you want to consistently play so that you get used to what their ATK speed feels like, including the changes to your ATK speed that will occur with items. As you get used to what your ATK speed is like at each stage of your build, you will find it easier to land autos consistently by timing the movement of your cursor and character while also adjusting for the movement of the enemy player. (This is often referred to as Boxing)

Mouse aim for all PC games is consistency.

Acceleration off is most helpful (turn of mouse smoothing/pointer precision in Windows)

If you play any games that require aiming then the rule of thumb is to at least be able to do a 360 turn from edge to edge of your mouse pad. Being able to Dial in the same settings on every game helps with the consistency.

Lower sensitivity is better but really alot of that depends on DPI setting, in game settings, monitor resolution etc. most pro players have a DPI of 400-2000. To me 1000 DPI feels perfect. Pretty much I recommend setting a higher DPI and if it feels like you need more control then lower it a bit. Each time you adjust then you might want to lower it a bit more till you find your sweet spot.

Then it's just a ton of practice. Knowing how the opponent moves, anticipate where they're moving.

i just use my side button on my mouse , i think its called sniper mode , where i just press it and it slows down my sensitivity by alot ,

#

you in theory should be able to move your mouse, left to right, to do a full 360 AT MOST

#

if you are doing any more then that, you need to lower your sens

#

you also ned to look into DPI

#

as that plays a better role and more consistent then sensitvity

#

also remove mouse acceleration is the first thing you do when u get a new PC

What’s your mousepad size looking like? More room is better.
Learn to pivot your aim with your elbow and wrist along with understanding what situations call for either or.
As previous commenter said, learn dpi.
I personally have dpi set to 800 and a report rate of 1000 along with dpi shift for if I go a melee character since you’ll be close up to others most of the time anyways.
If you get a good dpi setting down and play other games then you’ll neverrrr have an issue figuring out sensitivity as all it does is multiply what your dpi is.
Also, dont choose anything lower than 400 or anything higher than 1600 for dpi

The real answer - use an aim-trainer like Kovaaks

#

You don't have to go full CSGO pro but just a quick 5-10 minute warmup to work on flick/click-timing and tracking

hm that aim thing really only helps in long range things like arma sniping, i really see it not being effective in pred. Check out DPI and put it around 1000 and lower your sensitivty a bit IMO, from there itll just be practice but of course you do gotta do wat makes u feel better. But definitly try new stuff. remember , it takes time to learn ur not gonna get used to it in a few games even.

@brave bear The honest truth about aiming trainers btw isn't necessarily to make your aim cracked. It will no doubt refine your aim and if you've never done it, you'll see early gains fast and the improvement arc will start to plateu after a while. Biggest benefit u get from them is confidence in the aim rather than the actual motion of moving your mouse once you sit in them for around 100-200 hrs. Key takeaway is to always bring the target to the center of the screen, not the center of the screen to the target. It's a mental shift that goes a long way.

Most important for carry is to not hold down the fire button when in fights. Individually click for each shot. Some people track targets, others like the flick method. Try each and see which one works best.

Dont hold the auto attack button. Lead your shots on strafers.
