Happened to me as well had to switch to a immutable distro because even on windows I was having trouble
What do you mean by that? Immutable?
An immutable Linux distro is an operating system where the core system files are locked or "immutable," meaning they can't be changed by users or applications during normal use. This ensures that the system stays consistent, secure, and reliable, as important parts of the system cannot be altered accidentally or by malicious software. However, users can still install applications and make changes to their personal data and configuration files, usually via a separate layer or container-like environment.
Decided to just copy paste taste for both our sakes
its what the Steam Deck uses and Arch Immutable Distro
personally I go for Bazzite as I prefer an atomic update
that means it will update all at once and not piece by piece
So for this i would have to download a new operating system?
