you absolutely need to be building penumbra. malady 1st to help your clear and get started stacking, penumbra some time soon after, and the rest is normal assassin stuff like before

The core is
1st slot Malady
somewhere in slot 2-4 Perforator.
How optimal everything else is is situational.
Just filter by flat pen and think about how to counter the enemy team with the passives at your disposal.
If you're snowballing, Penumbra
If you need to silence someone to guarantee you can burst them down, or cancel a key ability, Envy
If you need anti heal, tainted trident
Anti tank, infernum
Spell Shield Buble, Mesmer (great against pick off comps. Riktor, belica, dekker ball)
Anti Burst or Survival under a gadget ult (which is often used for anti dive) Dread
Anti Shield, Demon Edge
You have 2 slots that you know are spoken for almost every game (unless you mess with a resolution style build)
You have 4 items (and possibly a crest) to help with counter building.
Feng Mao is still great, IMO, but I do think burst is slightly less potent this meta while sustained DPS is very very strong
In coordinated play, I presume assassins will still feel nearly as potent as before
